I'm sure you're probably aware of this and it'll be taken care of soon enough, but the new pet Nether Ray Fry should be added to the pet button.

Apr 23, 2008Three pages later (this thread's moving fast it seems :P ) I get in my thanks for your reply. Anyway, I ended up just turning off the class and extra bars and recreating the buttons I needed into the basic bar. A little less organized and perhaps dirtier than the organization of the separate bars, but I'm happy with it. :)Posted in: General AddOns
Also, wanted to say your essay on your limitations of adding usage counts to items like manna gems was delightfully entertaining.
Anyway, thanks again for your continued work on this life-saving addon. I have a lot of addons I enjoy and depend on, but this is one of the few that would seriously cripple me if it went away.
Apr 22, 2008Had to wait a day to update since the new version didn't keep my old configuration, but that was a minor annoyance--changes look good so far.Posted in: General AddOns
However, 2 things. First, I mainly use this on my mage and the conjure buttons for food, water, and the ritual of refreshment pop up under the basic food and water icons. Since I only do this stuff when I have a spare time, I don't need these in such a visible/accessible place as Autobar, and Autobar already has these under the mage's class section anyway. It's extremely aggravating to have the conjure spells pop up in my options when I'm simply trying to grab a bite to eat. I turn off the pop up for these 2 buttons, but it's only a work-around, since then I can't access anything but the top level of food I have on me.
Second, and I may just not have found it, yet, is there a way to intermix the class and extras bars into the basic one (besides leaving empty spaces in the basic bar and configuring empty spaces in the class and extras bars to match up for an overlay)?
Mar 2, 2008Didn't see anything about this in the last 5 pages, so...Posted in: Raid AddOns
When I log in (or zone into any instance), I get this error:
Interface\AddOns\BigWigs_Extras\CustomBar.lua:12: AceLocale(BigWigsCustomBar): Cannot provide the same locale more than once. "enUS" provided twice.
Also, was getting an error in BigWigs\prototype.lua while fighting Murmur on heroic (which I found a bit odd that BigWigs would care about anything in a non-raid zone, but...). After getting done in SL, I downloaded the latest version of BW (last update was only a few days ago, however), so this issue may be resolved, but the CustomBar one is still popping up.
Thanks for any help.
Nov 17, 2007_ForgeUser164846 posted a message on Concession Stand/Vending Machine (mage trade addon)I've been using Concession Stand (originally Vending Machine until someone picked it up for 2.0) to simplify my food/water trading. While it still "works", it hasn't been updated since 2.1 (if that, I believe) so I figure if an up to date solution is to be had, may as well see if it can be done here (since I'm lazy and like the auto-update stuff).Posted in: Addon Ideas
Food/water trading is MUCH less of an issue in 2.3 with our new spell, but just tonight I was still seeing its usefulness. Once my refreshement table is about to disappear, I grab a bunch of extra stacks, should someone need refills later or whatever. However, Concession Stand doesn't support the new item. Also, this would still be useful for leveling mages. An easy option that automatically pops up eliminates trade hassles, especially if someone's slow and trying to take care of it just before a pull. One other thing Concession Stand doesn't currently do that would be helpful is an easy option to trade lower ranks of refreshments--it currently only does your top rank, regardless of what item you have made. That would certainly make helping lower level friends easier, or those times leveling when you're playing with those across the level gap (you just got your level 55 water and you're running with someone who's 54 still, etc).
Nov 14, 2007Hmmm...my post earlier didn't seem to go through (probably my crappy, slow connection at work).Posted in: General AddOns
Anyway, I hadn't even thought of Seaforium charges as a lock picking item. Good idea, and that's a perfect spot for them.
Nov 14, 2007Seaforium Charges don't seem to be listed anywhere. Would make sense to have them under the Explosives button (last on the popup list). Not sure how to find the item ID#. "Elemental Seaforium Charge" is the one I'm mainly interested in, but the lower level ones would possibly be helpful for those leveling.Posted in: General AddOns
Also, the quest item box seems a little buggy. I don't have many quest items on me to check it out, but Nightbane's "Blackened Urn" doesn't show.
I must say once rearranging buttons actually worked and I figured out how that worked (not as intuitive as I was hoping, but definitely useable), it's about as good as the old version for how I use it. HOWEVER, is there a way to add specific items to a button? In the old version, I could basically drag any item from my inventory into a button, but it seems now all the buttons are simply predetermined sets. I tried the "custom" button, but they just seemed to be able to customize a series of these predetermined sets into one button (and no matter what I did, it kept trying to use my hearthstone when I clicked my new button anyway).
Sep 21, 2007Thanks guys. I'll probably be switching back to NECB then. Already use Quartz and didn't know NECB was as modular as you said, Siz. While I really like the indivdual mob spawn timers of Incubator, I never had an issue with that aspect of NECB, so that will condense another addon. Was just thinking I cleared up some lag when I dropped NECB, but I probably just didn't have my settings optimized for what I really wanted from it. Will play with it some more this weekend. :)Posted in: General Chat
Sep 21, 2007I only used a couple options from NatruEnemyCastBar, so I was looking for replacements, since it seems a bit bulky (especially since I only used about half ot it). It's also not Ace, so is harder for me to keep updated (yes, I'm lazy and the autoupdater's the main reason I enjoy Ace stuff :P ). I got Incubator for the respawn timers and Chronometer for my dots and such. However, the one thing I'm really missing is seeing the duration of other player's CCs. For example, NECB would show how long the warlock's banish would last which could really help with my casts. Is there a way for Chronometer to do this, or is there some other addon (along with or besides Chrono) that would accomplish this?Posted in: General Chat
Sep 3, 2007Along with my above post, my water icon now seems to be acting up. Occasionally, my conjured water will disappear (leaving the "conjure water" spell--which shouldn't even be there to begin with). I'll open up Autobar and simply replace the "water" icon (it's already on the list...I just click on it to open up the list and then just click the water icon from the list again) and it works.Posted in: General AddOns
Aug 28, 2007On my water and food icons (default multi-catagory buttons) it keeps poping up with the Conjure ability (it's on my mage char). However, the conjure isn't in the list for that button... Also, when I click "no popup" on that button (I assumed this would block the popup altogether, negating any issue with the conjure spell) it simply gives (Item ID not recognized) in the button's function list.Posted in: General AddOns
Basically, I just want it to drink/eat whatever water/food I have available as I have my conjuring spells in another unobtrusive location and don't need the extra clutter for those buttons. Thanks.
Water button has:
Water: % mana gain
Food button has:
Food: % health gain
Food: No bonus
Food: Mage Conjured
Speaking of, why no "Water: Mage Conjured"? My mage water works fine as it is, but just seemed interesting. :P
Aug 26, 2007Yep, I use ProcMeter and it works quite well for my mage. Only inconsistancy is my mana restore metagem, which procs on anything (blink, buff, portal creation...) which I don't think are then added into the "cast" or "attack" catagory, so my attacks remain the same, but the percentage of procs go up a bit inaccurately. Of course, as mentioned, this is skewed even more on locks, as nightfall has several ticks per "attack" to proc (and can theoretically proc on any and all of those ticks). It's still good enough for a rough reference on procs like these, but a more accurate version would be ideal. Also, ProcMeter did seem to eat up a relatively large amount of resources (I think cpu cycles, if I recall, but could've been memory--I've got lots of both to spare, so don't really remember).Posted in: Addon Ideas
