    There is a small issue when relogging that makes the button be drawn smaller than actually set up in the options.
    E.g. I've set the size to 0.9 and when I log in it is about 0.5 or 0.4.
    When I change the size from 0.9 to 0.8 it makes a jump to 0.8.
    Probably a scaling issue :D

    EDIT I might also add that I find it a bit annoying the button disappears for a short period of time when it is clicked ;)

    I have 5 frames actually (general, party/raid, guild, tells, combat log) and MiniChat minimizes them all together.
    Granted, I got them attached together, but who wants to have their screen cluttered with ChatFrames? :P

    Since it is clamped to screen, I can not move it near enough to the border.
    I know it's tricky with people pushing the button off the screen, but I'd really like to put it at the very edge of the screen.
    So, an option to disable clamping would be nice.

    If people move it offscreen they can just position it and then move it again, so I think it's no big deal :)

    I wanted to make you a little video, but I've narrowed it down to Prat's ChatTabs module.
    After I disabled that, everything works fine with MiniChat.

    Would be nice if MiniChat and ChatTabs could play well together :D

    IMHO it is not.
    ECB was an addon that originally only showed cast bars for enemy players.
    It eventually evolved into showing cooldowns, HoT/DoT/CC timers, and everything that is included today.
    While it is extremely good at what it aims to be, it has a lot of stuff nobody really needs (as in "critically needed") in such an addon.
    E.g. why does it have that sound broadcasting feature? Why the killing spree stuff? Or the FPS/Latency bars? Or the garbage collector crap?
    None of these features are needed nor wanted in an addon that informs you about hostile/friendly casts/cooldowns/timers, are they?

    Now on the other hand you will never find such features in most addons developed by the people on this forum.
    That's exactly the reason why e.g. there are several HoT monitors that do not track enemy casts.

    The point is: NECB is not bad, it's simply overfeatured.

    Also, I pointed out how one could create a modular addon that would incorporate the "Ace zen" but still be vastly superior to the cast bar/tracking addons so far available here.
    But as you, I lack the expertise and the time to commit myself to such a project.

    E.g.
    Grid hidden -> Casted Power Word: Shield on myself -> no trigger
    Weakend Soul debuff still on me -> Grid manually shown -> trigger fires

    Just tried it, seems veeeery nice.
    I also use it with Prat; honestly, why wouldn't they work togehter?

    But I have a request: I don't like the positioning of the button.
    Can you make it freely movable, or e.g. hook right-clicking the ChatMenu button (the button where you select emotes and languages) to do the minimizing?


    EDIT Just know I found something strange.
    I have 5 tabs, and when minimizing not all of them move.
    I think something is wrong with their SetPoint()'s, but I'm not sure what exactly makes them spaz out.

    EDIT^2 Upon further use I noticed, that as soon as you click on a chat tab it somehow is no longer attached to the tab of the first ChatFrame.
    When tab 1 is active only tabs that were not clicked yet get moved correctly.
    When any other tab is active only tab 1, the active tab and tabs that have not been clicked get moved.
    Hope that helps in fixing this issue :D

    I think the best way to approach this would be a general kind of framework, that just shows bars under user defined anchors (with appropriate configuration, e.g. show icon, alignment, etc).

    From there, one just supplies plugins with data, e.g.
    - HoT/DoT/CC durations
    - respawn timers
    - maybe an arbitrary enemy cast bar (that shows casts from players that are not targeted or focused)
    and whatever should be shown.

    I don't understand, why that stuff was put into different addons in the first place.
    IIRC there were some problems with "my hots" and "enemy casts", which was the reason Antagonist and Chronometer were split into two addons.
    But since the last patches this is better supported via the API, so isn't it feasible to approach this similar as I lined out above?

    EDIT On second thought, I can also imagine something like SinkLib but for bars.
    E.g. a general setting for CandyBar to display all bars under the anchor of, say, BigWigs or whatever is registered (though I don't exactly know how CandyBars work :>)
