Ah, could be because I use the mouse then? I used my thumb button for it, and that didn't work.

Likely yes. See if you can use your driver software to have the thumb button send a key instead of a mouse-click. That's how I do it with my Logitech MX Revolution mouse.

hm, tried it on a new character now. Only things enabled is Ace3 and Mouselook and it still doesn't work. The hotkey works in the world frame and over chat frames, but not over the blizzard frames, and not over the action bars.

It still works just fine for me. Are we misunderstanding each other here? How do you test this? What do you expect should happen? And what actually happens? Also, what key did you bind?

I used the key "A" and tested with the default Blizzard unit frames (only player and target frame though, as I didn't have a party). Hover over a unit frame. Press and hold the A key and turn your char. Release the A key and you are back to normal view.

//edit just tested it now, it works just like right clicking, however it does not work when I mouse over another frame, which is kinda the point :P

That's odd. I tried with both the default Blizzard frames and PitBull. It works fine for both of those. What happens when you try? Maybe you have a conflicting key-binding?

posted a message on Looking for advice on buying a Mac Pro
Got my NVidia 8800 GT card a couple of days ago. And wow... what a change. :) To begin with I didn't change my graphics settings and got 300-400 FPS in certain areas (granted, this was quiet corners of Exodar... but still). I've now maxed most settings and still getting great FPS - depending on the place of course. The graphics card was no doubt the bottle-neck in my system.

Also, in comparison with my old iMac, the new comp seems to handle all of this with lots of headroom still to use. Meaning it doesn't get noisy, doesn't get hot, and I can easily run lots of other programs at the same time. So all in all it was an expensive but worthwhile purchase.

Thanks to all who replied in the thread. :)

I need to understand the request fully. Is this just a matter of turning on mouselook when the button is held down and turning off mouselook when it is released? In that case it is very easy to do. I will check in a version with that feature so you can test if that's good enough. (Wether or not it's enough, I think it will be useful on its own to have this.)

Think I got it all done now - including making the text-coins localizable. Thanks! :)

i quickly tried the text option, i think there is a bug here, at least in frFR:

the 'c' for copper is replaced par 'g'

    so the price say: 1g 20s 20g insteed of 1g 20s 20c

Ooops! That's fixed now. Thanks for spotting it.

I am in the middle of reinstalling my system. So the rest of the updates will be a bit later.

I don't see anyone besides you opposing the idea of searching before posting around here, dunno...

Count at least one more then. Searching for information is not as easy as some want it to look. The less you know about a subject, the harder it is to get knowledge about it on your own. That's where experts come into the picture. There is never anything wrong with asking experts for help. It's really rare that the people asking for help do it out of laziness - but it's easy to make them look both stupid and lazy if you respond as if they were.

    Well Spain is here!!!

    Ol? :)

Unfortunately the forum has a habit of destroying non-ASCII characters (such as accented letters). Are you sure there are none of those?

A better way to hand me the text would be to put them in a file and attach that file to your post. I think/hope that works ok.

I've added three display styles now.

    Coin: (default) Graphical coins
Text only: Uses letters g, s, and c instead of coins.
    Blizzard: The old-school Blizzard style.

I don't think I'm going to take it much further than that for the moment. Unless I implement something similar to DogTag for specifying formatting options, I will never be able to satisfy everybody anyway. :P

There are a ton of other mods out there that show the sell price in coin format, but not text format.

That's actually not quite true. To my knowledge no other addon than ItemSync display both coins and text in the same tooltip line. This was quite difficult to implement before patch 2.4. :)

But yea, I figured some people would want the text format back. So I will likely add it soon. :D

This is a free repository for addon authors to host their code for developing addons (not releasing them IMO >:@).

Right now I disagree. For me it is a way to release addons much more than a way to support development of them. I think that's actually how most addon authors here treat it. And it's the way the release scripts/updaters treat it. But with the right design it could be both.

Edit: Basically an addon website with an svn server _behind_ it that no user has anything to do with.

That would be lovely. Though I have a dream that it be Git instead of SVN. :) I will probably have to dream for a while though...

Uploaded a new version that should fix the scaling issue. I still think it's a Blizzard bug though. But in this case the fix was fairly easy to do.

    Little bug here:
the price seems a little misaligned, see attachment for a better feedback.

Im using cowtip with a low scaling.

Uh, that's not good. Seems like the new "embedded textures" by Blizzard don't properly respect scale. I will see if I can figure out something.
