I think it would be nice to add a quick "segment" choice in the LDB menu... right now it is very cumbersome to switch from total to current to a specific fight since you have to back all the way out and then all the way in again.
Like someone else said, it breaks down a single fight into multiple segments (it certainly does this on the third drake in OS where you enter the portal). Doesn't it use "enter combat" / "leave combat" to start and stop fights?

Mar 2, 2009I love it!!!!Posted in: General AddOns
One thing that is critical when analyzing rotations is a count/% for each ability in the damage breakdown view (not only how much damage each ability does). I hope you can add that as an optional textblock on each bar.
Also, when testing last night and setting it to show damage from the last fight it seemed to be stuck on the same fight. True, I was grinding slimes in EPL so all mobs were the same, but the DPS shown in the broker feed changed each fight but the dps shown on the bar after the fight was the same. I had it set up to show threat during fights and then toggle back to the last view (great feature!!)
Feb 28, 2009I got some config errors when trying out the latest build today:Posted in: Raid AddOns

Feb 22, 2009Posted in: General AddOnsQuote from yoshimoare you sure that you installed the most recent version of chatter? ;)
I haven't updated Chatter in a while and all of a sudden I got this problem... guess I'll go and grab the latest version again.
Feb 22, 2009I would love to be able to see all my avaialble sockets (colors and current gems) in one window. Perhaps it could be a simple broker dropdown or something attached to the characters screen. It would provide a list of:Posted in: Addon Ideas

Feb 20, 2009Posted in: Raid AddOnsQuote from martincHow about doing it similar to Procodile, in that none of the internal cooldowns are defined initially, but rather the addon "learns" them as you use them. Sure, the cooldown displayed wouldn't be accurate the first time you use it, but after about 2 or 3 days, it's near 100% accurate. Would take a lot of the work out of having to manage and add in new internal cooldowns, as shipped with the addon.
The internal cooldowns on items don't vary... once someone has figured it out (30 minutes on a target dummy will do the trick) you can simply add the number to RBM together with the item. No need to make RBM learn tricks that will only be needed once for each new item.

Jan 29, 2009For the last two days I've had problems on Krasus landing... when I arrive there on my land mount (from inside Dalaran), Squire does not shift to a flying mount. It does however switch to another random ground mount.Posted in: General AddOns
Jan 28, 2009Posted in: General AddOnsQuote from PhanxWell personally, I'd love to be able to get rid of most of the views Recount offers. I don't care how much energy Rogue X gained. I don't care about the uptime of Warlock Z's Siphon Life. The only displays I ever look at are Damage Dealt, Damage Taken, Healing Done, and Overhealing Done. Everything else is just extra stuff making the previous and next buttons useless.
And I think the point is that people don't want to see if enemy heals happened. :p
I think that is why many of us miss Assessment :-( Recount is great, but in many ways too great.
Jan 23, 2009I think there is an issue with the cooldown on Explosive Shot and Lock and Load procs. When LnL procs you can fire 2 explosive shots without any mana cost or any c/d. That doesn't seem to be reflected in the RBM cooldown module.Posted in: Raid AddOns

Jan 21, 2009I know this is not the right forum but I wanted to see if I could get some help here... I'd love to simply have the name of my focus displayed in a broker (rather than wasting screen realestate with the focus frame when I all I want is the name). If anyone could point me towards the right function to use (to retrieve the name of my focus) I might even be able to write it myself (doubtful).Posted in: Addon Ideas
