posted a message on Skada: a damage meter
Everyone in our guild using the r168 has the same issues as hellnoBH.
Skada breaks randomly, and by breaking I mean :
    - Can't click on the windows anymore.
    - Display is messed up, bars not at their places
    - Can't report the data
    - Can't do anything.

Error message points at a library though...

    Simply love the gradient.

Btw, how do you make names appear from so far away ?

Hello, I have one question too.

Concerning the recipe coloring option in the Auction tab of the options, is it possible to disable the tracking of known recipes of one specific character ?
For example, I have 2 enchanters, and only one of them is currently active and searching for recipes. I would like to only see the recipes this active character doesn't know.

Maybe this setting exists, but guess what, I didn't find it.

actually, that's a problem with the updater in it's logical sense.

sure, it's nigh impossible to have a central repository for all beta URL's for 500+ addons of varying compatibility with "echoes of Doom" 3.0.2

the timing of your grand update is inexcusable.

at least put in somewhere that you're sorry about the fact you've broken a good 98% of functionality for most users by having to manually search/visit the page URL for ~200 mods, that's not what an updater is for most people, certainly not me.

I think you didn't read anything on this forum. Go ahead, inform yourself about the situation, then come back here and say YOU are sorry for what you just posted.

Whatever happened to auto-detecting what addons you have? This just seems super tedious unless I'm missing some huge step that simplifies all of this.

Can't do this anymore, as the local version was indicated by a file (i.e. version-81278.3), and allowed the updater to compare this and the version on the svn.

Would need to change every hosting repository to work this up again. So many updaters try to bypass this by creating their own file in the addons' directories, but it's quite clumsy as it adds many useless files.

So in conclusion, you need to install every addon one time. And I advise you to manually delete the addon's folder locally, then install via the updater.

Inevitably, there will be updaters able to overcome this kind of "lock".

Thanks a lot rolfba for this version. It works nearly perfectly. Although he can't detect the local version of an addon, but only after its been updated. In that it's not different from the CC, but I can't think of a way to avoid this unless the addons sites adopt some sort of xml parsing as described in the topic aside from this one.

Now we need some things :
    - a global jwuaddondb.xml. Yeah I'm lazy
    - Libs handling (even if I'm not relunctant to go full-embed)
    - Delete before updating to actually work
    - A "Reinstall all" button
    - And of course a sum-up changelog, but it would need to be able to parse every kind of changelog available on the different addon sites

And finally, we need to know which source will be the most reliable, curseforge, wowinterface, etc...
But we won't know that until the stormy weeks to come have passed...

The dog never paid for the bone you're throwing at him. However, wouldn't it be disoriented if you removed it from its mouth ?
    Here I come, Metaphor-man !

Although I agree on the "let's wait and see" position, even if I won't ever reinstall this Curse Client as it is now. Hopefully I did backup my folders...

Is anyone working on a WotLK update for this? Does it work in beta? I've been using Bagnon or something instead because it has a WotLK beta version, but I miss Baggins.

Working perfectly fine for me, without any modification.

@lilsparky : The border coloring for categories idea is brilliant. Categories moving around in the all-in-one view is the only issue I see in Baggins, which is by far the best bag addon I've ever used.
Hope someone could add some features in the future.

Since latest version, the big memory freezes happen again as soon as there is a change in my bags when they are opened. This had been corrected long time ago.

I didn't change any settings, and I tried every Sorting option, thinking the issue could come from there (Instant Sorting).

    Will try it out tonight.
You have a lot of time to kill imho.
    But I won't complain ;)

Are the movers able to move frames like the Capture Frame, as SMM actually does ? (if it doesn't, I will maybe have to do a little re-ordering before switching to Chinchilla).

Yep, even if there are many people using theses addons, this new core functionnality would be at its full potential only if every healer has LibHealComm-3.0 installed.
So that's what I will claim on our guild's forum right away. Point being that a stand-alone librarie is completely transparent on the interfaces of users who don't want to install addons.

Okay thanks for the confirmation. I guess Grid became even more attractive, perhaps I'll convince some other members to use it.

If I understand correctly, if I ask my raid's other healers to install the LibHealComm librarie (if they don't use Grid), I'll see their incoming heals on Grid's squares ?
