    I installed X-Perl today and it won't let me set my own focus like I can do with the WoW default ui. I am attaching the error code since I dont know if you want it posted in the thread.

    Sorry, it cannot work, because Blizzard "fixed" it.
    "Setfocus()" has been protected. No other 3rd-party addons can call it anymore, only Blizzard's default one can call it.

    Please use /focus, macro or keybind instead.

    Simple question. Is there any way of putting yourself in the party frame? So there is 5 in the party instead of 4? I just wanna make sure I'm not missing anything before I start moving things around again.

    Only 4 members display on party frame.
    Your character is on "player frame".

    The default Blizzard unitframe did this too, and how it works.
    I can't see any reasons to put yourself to party frame.

    You can scale up your player frame to make sure you never missed it.

    Yeah sadly it was, it might be to do with some other combo of addons I have installed, but being a programmer by trade I just thought I'd put some conditional checking in place and at least make the error "go away"

    Yeah, I still no idea, whatever. Your fix has been commited as r371, and it looks fine, maybe. But I think Zeksie still needed to look at it and make it totally fixed. :3

    I have a problem with Xperl, whenever it's installed I get 1 - 2 second freezes, it's most noticeable when in a BG, whenever someone enters the battle I'll get a small jolt/lag. This also happens randomly around the world so I can't use the addon any more which is a shame as it's my favourite. Is this a known issue and is there a fix in the works?

    Do you tried only using X-Perl (disabled all other addons) to make sure there is no addon conflict.

    If still happens, try backup & killed your all XPerl*.lua in your %World of Warcraft installation directory%\WTF\Account\<account id>\SavedVariables\ (and "<your character name>\SavedVariables\" sub-directories). Then, log-in the game and see what's happens.
    (Of course, all your setting of X-Perl will reset to default.)

    I worked around this issue by adding the following to
    XPerl_RaidHelper.lua:438: XPerl_MTRosterChanged()

    replace this code
    if (conf and conf.UseCTRATargets == 1) then
    for index,entry in pairs(XPerl_MainTanks) do
    local raidid = GetRaidIDByName(entry[2])
    if (raidid) then
    ctraTanks = ctraTanks + 1
    tinsert(MainTanks, new(raidid, UnitName("raid"..raidid)))
    end
    end
    end

    with

    if (conf == nil) then
    return
    else
    if (conf and conf.UseCTRATargets == 1) then
    for index,entry in pairs(XPerl_MainTanks) do
    local raidid = GetRaidIDByName(entry[2])
    if (raidid) then
    ctraTanks = ctraTanks + 1
    tinsert(MainTanks, new(raidid, UnitName("raid"..raidid)))
    end
    end
    end
    end

    in the top of the function MTRosterChanged in that Lua File

    Just ask, did you get this shitty problem(RaidHelper.Lua error) on r368 before you changed that?
    I never get this problem happened on my end... so I have no idea why it would happens...

    I can not use the focus frame when I have xperl on. I get the message***taintforced***has been blocked from an action only available to the blizzard UI.

    I have tried with the focus tab enabled and not enabled and it gives me the same message.

    Any suggestions?

    No, please stop using that and report this, Blizzard make all focus API are "protected", so no any addons can't use that except Blizzard's default unitframe.

    PLEASE use /focus, keybind and macro instead.

    X-Perl has not been showing my true health, I die but my bar still shows I'm at full health. Also when I resurrect X-Perl still shows me as a ghost. The only way to fix it is to completely log out of WoW...sometimes I have to do this multiple times! These issues have only been going on for a week or two & it's not just my account I know it has happened to a couple other people. Aside from this I love the add-on!!

    I'm having the exact same issue, is anybody going to do anything about it? I'd really rather keep X-Perl than go the PitBull route.

    Known "not-updating" bug...
    Just use "/reload" or "/rl" to reload all your addons and UIs.
    Not needed to logout.(but it's same, both will reload all addons/UIs.)

    Zeksie still busy on his Real-Life (TM)... :/

    Is this still valid?
    In randomgroups I can see incoming heals sometimes, when asking the healer he usually tells me he only has xperl & no libhealcomm installed.
    When raiding with my guild I never ever see incoming heals... annoying. They all use xperl as far as I know.

    Do they have to install libhealcomm seperatly in order to enable this functionality? (& will they THEN see incoming heals as well?) (seems so, for one it works this way, but not sure)

    If other UIs installed and enabled contains LibHealComm mod, it still work with X-Perl.

    I was not installed any UI contains LibHealComm mod, so I can't see incoming heals until I downloaded LibHealComm and installed it.

    Maybe someone has installed it(other UIs contains with LibHealComm) but he/she didn't know and it still works with X-Perl, even he/she isn't installed it separately.

    If you want that function, just download LibHealComm and install it, problem solved.

    Looks like you're using an old version of Xperl. Try upgrading to the latest, which is I believe r292.

    Yeah, that's X-Perl/Zeksie's problem
    all r289-r294 releases are marked as r288. I'm using r294 now but it still displays r288.

    EDIT : Oh shi-...I'm wrong. It displays r290 not r288... but still not match(I use r294).

    I'm using the latest version and I am updating my addons with Curse Client regularly.

    Did you try delete and backup your WTF directory then tried again?

    And try don't use Curse Client, deleted your x-perl then go to wowace's X-Perl project page and download the r292 release.
    (You should don't needed r293/r294, because it's only zhTW update.)

    Repost, Guess noone paid any attention..

    Hello, I've much-less tried to read all pages of this topic for a solution to my problem, but sadly I couldn't find any.
    The problem that I have is, when I click on "Bar Textures" on "Global" section of X Perl, I see all Bar Textures full gray. I can't change Bar Textures, here's an example photo for it.

    http://img200.imageshack.us/img200/5...2109122722.jpg

    Anyone knows how to fix this? Btw.. I've the latest version, and I tried to re-install it. I even deleted my WTF/Cache/WDB/Interface and even repaired WoW, still not working.

    Your link doesn't work at all.(404 File not found)

    Try disabled all your UIs but X-Perl and Blizzard's, then try again.

    If I enabled QuestFu's "Show quest levels" function, will get a error message.
    I have update QuestFu and QuestGuru both to latest version, still happens.

    Got an issue with x-perl and focus target :

    Any clue on what is happening ?

    This happens as soon as I try to define a focus target.

    Note I tried with just XPerl and disabling other add-ons, but still the same problem.

    Don't use that, Blizzard has been blocked that function.
    Just click your target, then use "/focus".

    Hi,,i found this one issue,,and I tried it disabling all addons except xperl.Whenever I log in as shaman,and set totems,it seem its not showing blizz timers..however when i acces xperl GUI,and set it on Player tab,(right side,use blizz totem..) they start to show.Same was happening with dk's runes bar,however that happened before 3.1.0,,haven't tested it in newest version yet.It's maybe a small fry,,but still,it's what makes this addon perfect.
    Anyone experiencing same problem?? Or I might as well be wrong and it's only happening on my side.

    Just disable/enable it and it should fine...on this login...|||

    ...but now it's work fine on my shaman...(I still play WoW 3.0.9 now, due stupid Blizzard f***ed up at 3.1 release on US/EU and Korea/Taiwan version were delayed one week...)I don't need to disable and enable it anymore... I have no any ****ing idea why it works again...(and I was try killed the WTF directory and it was still happened... :( )
