Is is possible in baggins to add stuuf like "sub categories", atm i can only see categories like armor, weapons etc. I would like stuff like armor (all cloth slots), trinkets, weapons, tabards, necks, rings etc.
Would make my bank and bags alot cleaner :)

Oct 7, 2008Posted in: UpdatersQuote from OrionShockI think your problem is that you think updating is needed or desireable? Fact remains that 90% of updates to the old method was localization changes by the zhTW and zhCN people, that affected a particular set of people.
You should have the idea, "I only update when it breaks, or when it has a new feature / bug fix that i want" not "Update every day on the clock regardless what that update was".
The later idea has pampered the wow community as a whole.
Well thats what i mosly did. Altough syncing addons required frequent updates to keep working properly (Omen etc). I just did a full update because WAU didn't work anymore, and Curseclient only seems to "see" your addons fully (author and version/release date information) after you fully update them a first time. Which caused my interface to break, which WAU had never done. So my only question was how to let Curseclient work properly so it doesn't break my interface anymore.
guess i'm better off with not updating for a week and just hope that Curseclient is fully fixed within a week so the patch madness will be easy to come by :)
Oct 7, 2008I had alot of shit also yesterday after updating with the Curse Client. My whole interface was fucked up after a Update Run. guess it also installs old versions of addons or something instead of looking at the addon version number and only install newer ones.Posted in: Updaters
Luckily i could fix it by getting a 2 month old interface backup and update that one with the "old" WAU which seems still work better. Aint it a option to keep up WAU till Curseclient flawlessly, ie no bugged interfaces after updating. I was happily using WAU now for about the whole TBC i think and it worked perfectly, never big troubles (only when patches changed something), but that wasn't WAU's fault.
Now i don't even dare to update my addons again because i'm afraid that my inferface will be fubar again! Any idea how to fix this, so that i can either use Curseclient in a safe way or WAU again?
Thanks in advance

DoT Timers was interfering for other people.
Any fix for this incomming? as i don't really want to disable DoT Timers. i just switched from elkbuffbar to elkbuffbars and with elkbuffbar all is fine even after 2.3 except for the fact that elkbuffbar can't show durations anymore.

Since recently i have a problem with updating my mods with the wowace updater. I can update most of my addons while they keep there settings as i had them.
However when i choose to update bartender3 and ag_unitframes after updateting the unitframes look differently (i guess standaard settings) and i have bars all over my screen, and things i had hidden with bartender3 are visible again and.
Can anybody tell me how to update these addons trough the wowace updater while they keep the settings i had with them before updating. So that i am not busy for 30 mins after updating to get everything right again?
Thx in advance.
