Yup I found that out by being told by a guildie.
Hence my reaffermation that I would like to read something about how to use this addon.

Failing availability of a readme doc thing can you tell me how I can get around not having to use the mouse scoll ?
I have a trackerball without a mouse scroll wheel and I would like to change stuff like my default aura etc.
Mar 17, 2009Well I would suggest that priority is given to which ever type has the smallest hit distance. The larger hit distance will not be compromised by being reduced whereas the smaller hit distance would suffer from being increased.Posted in: General AddOns

I am not worried about the additional issue, I am happy to work around that.
What I would like is not to have to enter routes to change the hit distance manually depending on what I am collecting.
Thinking about it I guess this is an edge case specific to high density node areas.

Picking herbs outside of darnassus with hit distance set to maximum is, well not very helpful. Herb nodes are so close together that a hit distance of 30-40 is useful. Any greater and you are being redirected to the next node before you find the one it was originally pointing to.
I use the TomTom pointer to find the herbs because unlike mining nodes I have a problem actually seeing the herb unless I am standing on it!
I do not set the minimap to close zoom because I use that to find new herbs not already present in the route I am following.
Also I have noticed a separate issue with the hit distance.
This is not really a problem but I thought I would mention it so that you are aware of it.
If you approach a node you are directed to that node until you reach the hit distance. Then you are directed to the next node. If the new node is closer than the hit distance you are still directed to the new node. The distance to target reduces down to zero, as expected. When you reach the node viz. distance zero TomTom closes. This is also expected behaviour from TomTom.
It does leave you with no directions to the new node forcing you to tell routes you want to use it again. When you get the new TomTom directions you are directed back to a previous node. When you get there you are then directed onwards new nodes in the expected direction.
A work around for this is;
approach the node that was within the hit distance,
do not let it reach zero distance,
vear away from the node until the distance is greater than the hit distance,
return to the node and continue as you would normally.

Just made a herb picker toon. The TomTom waypoint hit distance is very different between mining and herb picking.
I would really love to be able to set different TTwhd's.
Maybe per route, or per item type i.e. herb type, mining type etc.
I have mined soo much stuff thanks to this addon that you would not believe!
