Its a bug with uiScale. Try using SetCVar("uiScale", num) to adjust the scale by 0.001 a few times while the textures are being displayed and it will eventually fix itself when the scale changes. I get this all the time with textures being displayed in tooltips causing the line to wrap and take up 2 lines instead of 1.

Aye, I was playing abit with the Scale Value of the FuBar Tooltip and when I set it to anything but 100% it displays everything fine. So I'm doing a check and forcing it to bump the scale by .01% if it is set at 100%.

Odd behavior if you ask me.

I'm not sure what the issue is, I'm supplying my own texture and text. And no matter what I do, it wraps the text unless I put the texture at the end of the string.

Like I said, I can send the same string with texture to the chatbox and everything formats fine. When using TabletLib for my FuBar addon is keeps wrapping. And I do have the 'wrap' value set to false, which should cause no wrapping.

I honestly think it has something with the mechanics if TabletLib and string lengths that is causing this.

Yeah.. What happened is they changed some of the commands going from Quixote 1.0 to 2.0, which I wasn't aware of when I updated the Libs, so much for documentation on Libraries. ><

My local copy is fixed with some new things added, I'll be updating once I test it out abit more.

Anyone know what is happening when using textures in FontStrings. I seem to be having issues with it always wanting to wrap the text.

I can send it fine to the ChatBox with no wrapping, but anything in a tooltip (Tablet, etc..) it wants to wrap the text, unless I put the Texture at end of the string which is not what I want.

    Any assistance is appreciated.

Well just to let you know that even after the latest update by WAU I was still getting a error message.

So what I did for now was to uninstall the WAU version, deleted the SV portion of DQT and reverted back to the version on IncGamer anhd all works well again. I put DQT on ignore in WAU and will keep using the IncGamer version and I'll wait till a stable version.

I have very little knowledge how things work but Ace2 hasn't been updated in over 30 days and Ace3 was updated 6 days ago. Not sure if that has anything to do with all this happeneing.

Sorry that it is not going well for you, as I stated I'm not too familiar with SVN and how this all works. I joined the IRC channel to get assistance on what I may me doing wrong with very little help.

So I'm just going off examining other peoples mods on SVN to see how they are referencing and mine isn't far different from what these other mods are doing.

Sorry for the inconvenience, I will probably still use WoWUI/WoWInterface to post updates until this all comes into the light.

First off: great mod, will make the daily grind less painful.

Second is a teeny-tiny (or maybe big, I'm not a programmer) request. Would it be possible to include a time-zone modifier on the time stamps, nearly gave myself a heart attack earlier before I realised it was server time.

    And again: great mod.

This seems reasonable, my local time is the same as server time. So what I see, is what I get. I'll add this on my to-do list and thanks for the suggestion.

for revision 75203 you said in the changelog "You will now only whisper Random Dailies to others using the mod", though there was no change in code for that. did you forget to safe your file or sth like that? ;)

This was a change that I made when I was trying to get this all packaged for SVN, just didn't add it into info text.

I grabbed a copy from WAU to see what exactly it was downloading cause I wasn't having these errors on my local copy and saw that there has been changes made by other people, which I'm sure is causing the Lib errors as they are being referenced wrong so trying to fix those snafu's.

I'm all for people making additions (localizations, etc..) and what-not, but when it breaks the mod. It's a tad frustrating because I don't directly see what is going on unless I grab copies myself.

I thought there where SVN rules that TOTALLY prohibit this?

Yeah, I'm currently getting all the Libs upto date.

But it is still strange that it isn't grabbing the Quixote-1.0. I tested it over and over again to make sure externals where being including and everything was working on my end.

also the mods working like a dream again with the channel turned off thank god, hope to see a statblock module

Please try deleting your Dailies.lua and Dailie.lua.bak. This will reset the mod to defaults. Let me know, you may have some corrupted saved data.

Thanks for all the hard work on this Fritos. This is one of my favorite mods =]

Thank you for the kind words. This mod has went WAY beyond what I originally planned and has become its own beast!

With no LUA programming experience when I started, and still consider myself a noob-grammer, this mod has really thrown me the ropes on learning LUA!

But thanks again, and look forward to the all new WotLK Dailies. LOL. *hides in corner*

    ** UPDATE Version 2.4.2.05 5/20/08 TESTING**
    • You can now turn communications on/off to your liking if you don't want to send and receive dailies. When you first load the mod, communications will be completely OFF, and you will need to turn it on manually. Once this is done, you don't need to set it again unless you want to turn it back off.

    • Show Me The Money! Now sorts by monetary value and then quest name, so it's a little easier to read.

Me making the communication aspect of this mod was for global consumption, hence using AceComm. Maybe pointless was too strong of a word.

It baffles me how many people are irritated that this mod has added an additional channel to there client so I could add this option to the mod, which I thought would be very welcoming being we all know how many times in Shatt you get that spam, "What's the Heroic?" etc.. And now you can just look at DQT to see what they are for the day.

Do people REALLY use all of there channels, I raid consistently and have never had to use more than 2 additional channels then the default Blizzard ones.

With that being said, yes it is possible for me to use Raid/Party/Guild. I'm just wondering if it's worth the effort to add it when you will be pinging this info between so few players.

Any reason why you're whispering yourself the daily quests? since if you can whisper them, you already know them yourself ;)
Also it's a bad idea to keep constantly whispering to everybody in the channel, you'll only have to do it once per person/quest.

AceComm handles how the whispers are sent and there is pretty much no overhead with whispering peeps every so often (this is all invisible to the user, even if it whispers to yourself), there is a built-in throttle that prevents it from becoming spam to cause lag.

I see no issue and no one has reported to date that this mod has lagged down there system because of it.

tbh rather see this using the guild channel than taking up one of the free channels i do have

Using Guild/Raid/Group channels is pointless and too limited to communicate the Random Dailies. In my next update I'll be adding an option to completely turn off all communication, so those that don't want to send/receive the Random Dailies can live in peace with there extra channel back.

Would kinda like to keep all addon comunication in one "channel/tab" but still be able to bring it up if something seems odd.(atm im using Prat to gather all that into 1 tab)

I'm not sure what you would need to do with the AceComm channel, it defaults to being turned off from displaying any information and if it did display anything it wouldn't be anything that require any user interaction.
