posted a message on Curse.com Is Infuriating...
    Greetings, all.

This is my 1st post on these forums. I'd like to thank all the developers for the hard work they have put in over the years to make our hobby playtime more enjoyable and efficient.

I've been playing WoW for about 2 years now. Originally, I used mods from Curse back when it was curse-gaming.com on the recommendation of a former guildy.

When I learned about WoWAce and WAU, I abandoned all other mods and went completely Ace (without externals, of course =P )

I also do my homework before switching my mod acquisition methods.

Out of respect to the developer community, I am joining the boycott of WoWMatrix, based on the objections that I have read here, at this forum.

I don't mind having manually updated and having searched > 100 mods...

    Here's my quip about Curse.com:

~90% of the mods labelled as "Updated: 10-14-2008" or "Updated: 10-15-2008" are incorrect. WTF is up with this? Why label something with an updated date when it's really off 5-7 days (meaning it's not updated to 3.0.x)? Clicking on the "Updated" field initiates a refresh of the pages, but it doesn't sort the output by date. Why even allow that field to be clickable?

So, not only is the CClient a retarded POS, their web interface is as well.

My point here is that little inane errors like this make the "evil bandwidth leech" seem that much more appealing.

Curse-gaming / Curse.com is and always will be a POS.

    /endvent
