A Huge Ad. Banner on the bottom of this Tool now? Sorry but thats just a fuck*ng Shame and actually against any OpenSource License that i know, i just dont know any OpenSource (sf.net) App. that has such crappy Ads in it, this just sucks, if you wanna do Money than ask for Donations like all others etc. or just do this App as Closed Source then you can do waht you want with it.

For normal users it just sucks, they cant change the Code on their own, and thats what you are absuing here, just change ot to closed Source if you are that horny about Money dude.

As i said, just a Shame, never seen such shit befor... then i will update my Addons manually instead of using such MSN/ICCQ like shit App. (it is now...) hopefully none here will do so too on their opensource projects... ?_?

    ..... no f*cking greets

Why do you use EQcompare actually? There is no more need for such an Addon, its build in by Default since last Patches.

Just hover an Item with your Mouse and then hold SHIFT down, and a compare Tooltip popsup.

Either way, CowTip doesn't modify the compare tooltip's appearance...

For me it does, it looks different compared to the one when not using CowTip, another thing, its still a good question why using EQCompare when its build in by default, the addons does not give you any advantage, it does just the same, but its another addon, kinda useless.

And the most important thing here is, why and WHAT should CowTip change on EQc? Informations or what? This Addon is not supposed to change any informations of EQc, what you guys want to change at all? The background? or the border? Thats what it does already just look closer then youll see it or just delte your useless EQc addons then it will work for you too..

I have a doubt/suggestion: tooltips like the EQCompare ones are not using cowtip, this is cowtip's 'fault' or EQcompare? Or is there already an option for that and I didn't see?

Thats irrelevant. Cowtip does not skin that popup tooltip either. If it did, then I could see your point. Since it doesn't, asking why someone uses an addon that does something very obvious [in this case, always show equiped gear for comparison] is redundant. We run the mod, because the default UI option is not what I am used to. I am used to just mousing over to compare, why should I have to hold shift?

Anyways. I really would like for Cowtip to skin all tooltips. It would be huge.

For me it does... thats why i told you that, your were talking about EQCompare not skinning at all, im using the default EQCompare and its skinned, so its kinda opbvisious that it should be a problem on your addon which you use to do EQCompare? Kinda logical here...

    To point 3.

Thats the Problem, i dont wanna have all that Folder in my DIR.. i dont like it that ive no choice to this, and im forced to have it, other Addons can dot it too, why not Quartz? Cartographer i can choose which modules i want to Download and then these are the only ones in my DIR, and no Folders which are not beeing used all the time, makes no sense to me at all.

Anyways thanks for the help on 1. and 2. bro

As Ellipsis already said, it is somewhat meaningless that that folder is on your hard drive with respect to performance in the game, or doing anything else, for that matter, unless you are within 12kB of being full.

As far as being forced to have this folder, well--you can of course remove the folder after each update. Or you can download the addon for yourself at http://files.wowace.com/Quartz/. Then you could do the rest yourself from there.

I noticed you mentioned Cartographer as allowing you to download exactly what modules you wanted. This is only partly true--as true as if Quartz came as is and if someone else also wrote a third-party module for it. You may have not noticed that when you install Cartographer without any other third-party modules, several already come with it. I update PitBull just about every day. I don't complain that I have these other modules that I don't need like the combat fader, and repuatation and xp bar.

Thats why i dont usw Pitbull, its not only the Messy shitness in my Addons Folder, imagine EVERY addonw ould do it like that, what then? I would need an extra search engine to keep a overview in all that crap.

Also annoying, if i setup Addons in Game on Characterview, ive to scroll down through millions of unecessary "Folder" Modules which i cant delete or im forced to have in my Addon Folder or forced to not use WAU for just these Addons becouse they wont give you the choice... absolutly no sense at all, as i said.

Install Parser-3.0 standalone for now, once we get the LoD module packs sorted I'll move the Threat modules into a standalone distro.

Installed Threat-1.0 LiB, no more error(s) so far, thanks bro.

There is already such an Addon, its called SmartBuff.

It does exact the sme thing, rebuffing on Mousewheel, and also for Group/Raid if you want.

So why this Addon, could you give me a Reason why to use your Addon instead of SmartBuff? Would really like to know.

There is still no Option to change the olors of EnemyCastbar and Playercastbar seperatly, i just can cahnge the Color for both at all, this sucks.

This Flight thingy doesnt work at all, never did, using German Client, it never shows up.

Another Problem, i dont need Buff Swing Timer etc. but if i update Quartz via WAU then the whole package is downloaded again and after deleting the Folders for Buffs and Swing and all that Stuff, its there again! Thats sowhat annoying..

    1. This has been mentioned previously as a feature request.
    2. You need an addon that tracks flight durations (e.g. InFlight or FuBar_ToFu) since Quartz doesn't keep flight data.
    3. Just disable the modules you don't want from the addons screen in-game and then you won't have to worry about whether the folders are there or not.

    To point 3.

    Try this:

    [IsPlayer#mouseovertarget?IsUnit#player(MouseOverTarget)?Text(<<YOU>>):White!Target:ClassColor#mouseovertarget!Target:ClassColor#mouseovertarget]

This is the default setting and it's buggy. So why are you suggesting this to me?

For me it wasnt default, and for me it works, so what? You are welcome, no problem dude.

    One Question:

    This Tag here works good

    [IsPlayerOrPet?IsEnemy?PvP?Name:HostileColor!Name:ClassColor][IsPlayer?IsFriend?Name:ClassColor][~IsPlayerOrPet?Status?Name:StatusColor!IsMaxLevel?Name:HostileColor!Name:DifficultyColor]

    Thats for Name,

how can i change the Target Tag to something like that, that it will work also?

    Thats the Current Tag:

    [IsPlayer#mouseovertarget?IsUnit#player(MouseOverTarget)?Text(<<YOU>>):White!Target:ClassColor#mouseovertarget!Target:ClassColor#mouseovertarget]

    If someone is interested...

    Target Tag:

    Left:
    [Target?Text(Target:)]

    Right:
    [Target:IsEqual([Name#player])?Text(<<YOU>>):Fuchsia!Target]

The only thing I'm missing here, are class colored names if the Target is not me.

First Line (Name, AFK, Level, Class, Race, Form):

    Left:
    [Name:HostileColor] [AFKDND:Angle]

    Right:
    [Classification] [Level:DifficultyColor] [SmartClass:ClassColor] [DruidForm:Paren] [SmartRace]
DifficultyColor is not working. It's always white. -.-

    Try this:

    [IsPlayer#mouseovertarget?IsUnit#player(MouseOverTarget)?Text(<<YOU>>):White!Target:ClassColor#mouseovertarget!Target:ClassColor#mouseovertarget]
