Does not activate Quartz for me, otherwise all supported mods I had went on in config mode.

Please tell me which version of Quartz and NShakedown you have, by going to the About box.

Also, are you running any frame modifier such as Discord, MoveAnything or Visor?

Quite a few more responses than I expected...

I've added support for requests down to Farook's.

This is just a tool for displaying and unlocking other addons at the moment - it's meant to be a nonintrusive addon.

@Roslin, Tjista: I considered giving NShakedown some frame modification functionality, but decided against it as that's not really the purpose of this addon. Each of the supported addons have their own method of being positioned, so we're better off just using that.

@Pusikas: I'm not sure about ag_UF, but for PitBull it's quite easy - simply set the configuration mode to solo/party/raid via the menu, or by shift-clicking on the FuBar/minimap icon. I'm thinking that adding PitBull raid config and grid mockups would be good.

For those that want further frame layout support, try these out, in addition to NBuffBars:

    SnapToGrid: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=4948

    What is it?
NShakedown is a tool to help you organise your user interface. When using many addons, you get a lot of elements appearing over your display such as combat text, spell trackers, raid warnings, casting bars etc.

NShakedown allows you to display and arrange these around each other, so that they don't overlap.

    Default UI Only:

Arranging DeadlyBossMods, Incubator, Natur ECB, Omen, SCT and SimpleMinimap:

    Directions
To start shaking down, click on the maracas on the minimap or FuBar, and click again to stop shaking down.

You can turn individual addon shakedown on and off via the menu.

Set a keybinding (I use Shift-Ctrl-S) to toggle shaking, via the standard keybindings menu.

    Configuration
You can access the (Rock) configuration menu by right clicking on the FuBar/minimap icon or using one of the slash commands: /nsd /nshakedown /shakedown

    Hi Nemes,

I'm talking at cross purposes to you. Your problem is with the Tablet skin, which one are you using, Tablet or Tablet_Orig? You should use Tablet, this was an issue some months ago but as far as I'm aware I fixed it :)

The issue I'm talking about affects the GameTooltip when moving between characters and other objects such as signposts etc.

I'm working on the second issue not the first as I think it's fixed. If you still have the issue then please let me know.

The problem is with the Tablet skin - I can reproduce this issue:
    - Clean WTF and Interface
    - Install Skinner
    - Copy Tablet.lua into Skinner/Skinme
    - Start WoW etc.
    - BottomFrame->BottomFrame Show tick
    - BottomFrame->BF Fade Height set to 150

@ Nemes, I've tried to fix this issue but with no luck. I'm not aware that it used to happen before the last patch and will do some more investigation to try and find out what changed in the latest patch.

    Thanks for looking into it.

I've done a bit of playing around and I can only reproduce this when the Tablet skin is in the SkinMe directory. Is it possible that this skin is using the bottomframe texture / fade height by mistake?

I'm using CandyBars for a new addon and found a problem with SetCandyBarFade - it doesn't support stayonscreen as documented:
    http://www.wowace.com/wiki/CandyBar-2.0#:SetCandyBarFade.28name.2C_time.29

    Bug is here:

    The fix that I've branched:

I've looked in this thread and trac and not found anything...

I'm having tooltip texture bleeding through issues.

    I've raised a bug report:
    http://www.wowace.com/trac/ticket/1149

    Steps to reproduce:
    - Clean WTF and Interface
    - Install Skinner r41575
    - Start WoW etc.
    - BottomFrame->BottomFrame Show tick
    - BottomFrame->BF Fade Height set to 150

Here's a more thorough macro, that allows alt-selfcasting, and shows the flash heal tooltip when no unit is selected.

#showtooltip [modifier:alt] Flash Heal; [harm] Mind Flay; Flash Heal
/cast [modifier:alt target=player] Flash Heal; [harm] Mind Flay; Flash Heal
Actually, i recommend trying just #showtooltip with no arguments on the first line. These days, the UI code is pretty good at figuring out which spell it's going to cast, so it takes a little less work to set up the tooltips to show them.

Many thanks - works a treat!

This might not be what you're looking for, and certainly doesn't fit 100% into your current setup, but here is what I have on my priest, might be useful to you too. Most spells are cast through macros like this:

/cast [harm] Mind Flay; [help] Flash Heal

So if the target is friendly will cast FH and if target is enemy will cast MF. Works pretty good for me, except the annoyance to set up the macros, and the fact that the icon doesn't change.

For this latter problem, I believe you can add something like this (not sure about the exact syntax):

/showtooltip [harm] Mind Flay; [help] Flash Heal

to the macro, though I didn't do it myself, mostly out of laziness and the fact I got used to play without it by the time I found out about the showtooltip command.

My priest loves you for this suggestion - no more shifthelddowntoswapbars for her!

There is a small correction though, it should be #showtooltip:

#showtooltip [harm] Mind Flay; [help] Flash Heal

Here's a more thorough macro, that allows alt-selfcasting, and shows the flash heal tooltip when no unit is selected.

#showtooltip [modifier:alt] Flash Heal; [harm] Mind Flay; Flash Heal
/cast [modifier:alt target=player] Flash Heal; [harm] Mind Flay; Flash Heal

I've always liked the Bagnon feature wherby it shows your total gold

I like how Bagnon does it - shows your total gold if you mouse over the money display.

I was debating doing that, but it doesn't seem in the spirit of OneBag to me...

I'm happy to do either - it's really up to Kaelten I guess.

I've fixed a bug with and made a small addition to Kaelten's excellent OneView addon.

I've branched the code and posted in the OneBag forum topic:
    http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=1640.420

I've also sent a mail to Kaelten, but haven't gotten a reply.

As a new developer here what do I do? Should I merge this into the trunk?

I've always liked the Bagnon feature wherby it shows your total gold, so I've coded a quick change to OneView and OneStorage to show the total gold owned by toons of the same faction on that server:

The code can be found here:
    http://dev.wowace.com/wowace/branches/OneView/Nemes/TotalFactionGold/
    http://dev.wowace.com/wowace/branches/OneStorage/Nemes/TotalFactionGold/

This chance includes the fix for ticket 1075.

Kaelten: please review and promote this to the trunk.

I've checked in the very simple fix here:

posted a message on Prat 2.0 Chat Mod Framework (Official Thread)
Long time user, first time contributor. I've added a couple of features to the EditBox module. I stole the first two features from Confab, but I coded them a little better :-P

    • Hide Border: (default false) when true the texture is changed to a simple blank background
    • Autohide: (default true) when false the editbox doesn't disappear when you've finished with it
    • Clickable: (default false) this can only be set when Autohide is disabled; it allows you to click on the box to open chat

I also cleaned up all the deprecated / nonfunctional sticky stuff in the EditBox module.

    These went in in 39722.
