    My file FeignResistBell (1.03) that I uploaded 43 hours ago still not showing up on Curse. Another file I uploaded to a different project showed up in less than 24 hours. FeignResistBell on CurseForge says "this project is out of date" even though I uploaded a file 2 days ago and it shows it in the list of files on CurseForge.

    Any chance of getting Brisingamen's code into the main version? I am also getting spammed by goldsellers. Clicking decline just gets me another re-invite by them. I don't know about automatically adding them to ignore though, as there is a limit to the ignore list and it fills up quick. If it would just ignore the invites, that would solve the problem.

    You can probably use the test window to check the changes. Try opening the test window, scaling the window, moving the window, scaling the window again, moving the window again, and finally reloading the UI. Reloading the UI is a good test to see if the mod works correctly with saved variables.

    This may be because GetPoint() returns left and top values from the corner closest to the frame now. It may be easier to use GetLeft() and GetTop() which always use positive offsets from the BOTTOMLEFT of the relativeTo frame (such as UIParent).

    So, in a dragstop function, you might need something like the following:

    function DoDragStop()
    this:StopMovingOrSizing()
    left = this:GetLeft() -- saved variable
    top = this:GetTop() -- saved variable
    end

    And when displaying the frame, if you always use TOPLEFT for your frame and BOTTOMLEFT for the relativePoint, it should work okay:

    function DisplayFrame()
    ...
    frame:SetScale(size)
    frame:ClearAllPoints()
    frame:SetPoint('TOPLEFT', UIParent, 'BOTTOMLEFT', left, top)
    ...

    And to fix the window that moves around when scaling is changed, you could use something like:

    function ScaleFrame(newsize)
    ...
    left = left * size / newsize
    top = top * size / newsize
    size = newsize
    ...

    where size is the scale.

    Don't forget to consider the Track Humanoid mouseover feature :)
    This feature alone would be outstanding to all arena teams with hunters and druids.

    I didn't even know I had a UI scale until you mentioned it. I looked into it and the normal setting for "Use UI Scale" is deselected. If you deselect this option, you will see how huge the Proximo window looks for MOST users.

    Please add Step 0 to all those steps above:
    0: Deselect "Use UI Scale" if it is selected.
    The normal default settings for this option is deselected.

    The default font size for Chat Windows is 14 and is sans-serif.
    The default font size for target selection is 12 and is serif. This is the font I am talking about.
    By target selection, I mean the picture and text that show up when you select a mob such as "Mottled Boar".

    Most UI mods I've seen use the same font and size as the target selection. Personal Sentry, an excellent hunter-only mod, uses this size. Recap, an excellent damage meter mod, uses this size. Atlas uses this size for its list of bosses. Omen, an excellent threat meter mod, uses this size when its scaling is set to 1 (its default setting). Every mod I have that displays a list of mobs, friends, or enemies uses this size.

    Your mod uses a size of 16 which is gargantuan in comparison. I can only imagine the first thing people do when they see the enormous size of your window is to look for a size or scaling option to make it smaller. This perhaps is not as obvious to you since you have set your general UI scale to something different than the default. Please uncheck it to see what most people see when they first load your mod for the first time.

    Shouldn't a scaling of 1 with your mod match all of these other mods which also match the default target selection font size?

    The class name is essential when picking an enemy to target. I couldn't tell you what red or brown signified and I have been playing WoW since the beginning. I need to see the class name and I imagine most people check that option.

    If you expect users to re-adjust the width of the window when adding class names, I re-suggest the following:

    "Long enemy names are common. I also would expect the test window to show a 12 character name (preferably without i's or l's) with a Warrior or Warlock as a class for test purposes. This would be the widest text that could occur and would be good to make sure the window is wide enough for any enemy you encounter."

    This way I can adjust the window width in test mode to ensure that it's wide enough for all enemies I come across.

    As for disappearing window, I suggest adding:
    frame:SetClampedToScreen(true)
    might solve the problem.

    Though the window shouldn't actually move when scaled.

    You may have to adjust your settings on your monitor to 1680x1050 or other high res setting to see these problems.

    Steps to show huge window:
    1: Quit WoW.
    2: Throw away Proximo pref file in SavedVariables directory.
    3: Start WoW.
    4: Enter /prox test
    Result: Window is huge displaying text about the size of 16 point chat window text.
    5: Check the scaling preference.
    Result: It's set to 1 as expected.
    Expected: Text size to be much smaller at scaling=1. Text in WoW's default target selection, text in Personal Sentry popup window, text in various damage meters, all are the same font and size, and all are about 12 points. The text in Proximo's window should match the normal text size and therefore the default size of the Proximo window at scaling=1 should be a lot smaller.

    Steps to show default window not wide enough to display enemy name and class name:
    Same steps 1-4 as above.
    5: Select Enable Class Text.
    Result: Window shows Grayhoof - Shaman with not much room to spare.
    Expected: Since names can be 12 characters long, if an enemy had a 12 character name, I assume their name or class name would be cut off. I would expect the default width to be enough to show a 12 character name and class name without requiring the user adjust the width to show both enemy name and class name. Long enemy names are common. I also would expect the test window to show a 12 character name (preferably without i's or l's) with a Warrior or Warlock as a class for test purposes. This would be the widest text that could occur and would be good to make sure the window is wide enough for any enemy you encounter.

    Steps to show disappearing window:
    Same steps 1-4 as above.
    5: Select .6 as the scaling.
    6: Move the window to the right edge of the screen.
    7: Select .7 as the scaling.
    Result: Setting the scaling has not only changed the size of the window, it has moved the window and it disappeared (offscreen). There is no way to get it back without deleting Proximo preferences.
    Expected: Scaling not to move the window, only change the size of the window. These steps are not unusual. Because of the large default window, most people immediately try to make the window smaller. Because the window is centered on the screen, most people move the window to the right or left. While making adjustments to get it to the right size and position, the window disappears on them. This happened to me, to a friend of mine, and to other people.

    You may wish to add the following line:
    frame:SetClampedToScreen(true)
    where frame is the frame that you created.
    This may keep the window from disappearing offscreen.

    Personal Sentry is found here: (the version on wowinterface is old)
    http://downloads.curse.com/details/6031/

    It has a lot of features but the only feature I recommend including in Proximo is the feature to add enemies to the Proximo window by mousing over the red dots on the minimap when hunters and druids are using Track Humanoid.

    For that matter, even the 5v5 window is rather *gargantuan* at the default scaling. Can't imagine anyone keeping it at that size. Would be nice if the default size was more of a normal size. (You might have to delete your Proximo pref file to see this.)

    Also, the default width is not a good size to be able to see long character names and class names. I have to adjust this so that I can see both the name and the class.

    Again, not a critical suggestion, just would be nice if the default size was a normal size and the default width was long enough to show both names and classes.

    With the disappearing test window bug, it's hard to make these adjustments if the window disappears while adjusting or moving the window.

    There are a couple of postings in other forums (wowinterface, curse) that mention a bug about the Proximo window disappearing and never returning. These are in test mode, not entering an arena. I suspect this bug may only happen with new users, users that don't have any WTF prefs saved yet for Proximo, but that's just a guess.

    Also, I was wondering if it was possible to add a feature for hunters and druids using Track Humanoid, similar to the feature in a ui mod called Personal Sentry. When tracking humanoids, if hunters mouse over enemies (red dots) on the minimap, Personal Sentry adds their info (name and class) to a popup list of targetable enemies.

    Currently, I have to use both Proximo and Personal Sentry. As soon as the gates open, I mouseover the red dots on the minimap to add all of the enemies to the Personal Sentry window. I then have to click on each enemy in the Personal Sentry window to target them one by one. As they are targetted, they are added to the Proximo window. So this is a multi-step process that takes several seconds to get the enemies into Proximo.

    If Proximo had the same feature Personal Sentry does, I could mouseover the red dots on the minimap and have them instantly entered into Proximo (and shared with all teammates instantly). I wouldn't need Personal Sentry anymore for Arena.
