Aug 27, 2009Posted in: General ChatQuote from QaunI think that is a rActionBarStyler Bar :p correct me if im wrong...
close, dominos ;P but yeah it's just a small actionbar.
tried different colors.. kind of like it.
not sure if i want to keep class icons.. might change powerbars to classcolors or something :p
Aug 26, 2009Posted in: General ChatQuote from PhanxWhy do you have two, apparently identical, totem bars?
One is blizzards default totembar manager or whatever you would call it (ive hidden 2 buttons on it.. it's the one by the minimap) :P
the one by actionbars is just timers of totems i've dropped...
here's the layout with another border.

Edit Edit: So, I've got the border. But its not the color I wanted it to be. The file, frameborder.tga, consists of a flat black border. However in game it shows up as white. I've tried inverting the texture itself, but then the border doesnt show up in game. I've tried playing with RGB Values and I get mixed results. Ive tried changing "<Layer Level="Overlay">" to Normal, Darken, etc. Same mixed results. My border refuses to be black in game, its either white or non existent. -- Also, how do I remove the staggered small bar timers? I hate how its all staggered and not straight vertical.
Here's what my frameborder code looks like..
<Layer level="OVERLAY"> <Texture name="Border" file="Interface\AddOns\DBM-Core\textures\frameborder" level="TOP"> <Size> <AbsDimension x="31" y="31"/> </Size> <Color r="1" g="1" b="1" a="1"/>
what colors do you get when changing r,g,b? how is your texture's alpha channel looking?

Anyway it's also my castbar now so.
Result after some more tweaking. The picture is just about my UF btw.
and Castbar ..
all in one. Even a portrait of myself (tho due to quality of screenshot and strange animation of it, it's barely to be seen)
I would remove the bg of that cooldownsbar personally and just have the icons, all in all it's best stuff ive seen in quite a while :)
Jul 14, 2009made some smaller and bigger changes, textures and threatmeter/nameplates mostly :)Posted in: General Chat
any suggestions on improvements welcome!
little update with an idea i have with raidframes..model is on mouseover..problem for me is to hook the model to show on the same place when hovering players, gonna do some lua digging and see if it's possible :P

sexy! really like it!

Here are some updates:
Filger w/Coolddowns and Timer Bars (don't think I will go with this one bars just don't "fit" the UI well)
Filger w/ just Cooldowns:
The only bad thing I see about oCD is that if you get silenced during a spell cast every cooldown you have in your "watch" list then shows up so end up with big string of icons for the duration of the silence on your screen. My watch list is long since I switch specs :(. However, that doesn't happen with Filger that I've seen.
I agree with you, oCD fits your ui better than big bars.. why don't you make filger look like oCD? :)
I like the texture's you're using atm! <3
Jul 4, 2009Posted in: General Chat
Not sure if I will leave oCD where it is or put it back to where I had my Filger Cool Downs at.
oCD looks nice, i think changing position might be a good thing tho. :)
like the texture you're using for actionbar buttons, buffs and minimap!
More or less done with mine now. got some ideas but i lack lua knowledge to make them happen ;P

repositioned target a bit further, repositioned Threatmeter to fit target frame. Made a new buffbar. Colors changed a bit. Added aloft for uber easy AoE tanking: Yellow-ish means I have good aggro, green-ish means I'm losing aggro, red means I dont have aggro.
Keep up the goodies ! :) only thing i would change myself is probably the BG of what i think is your target castbar.. but maybe thats just me ;P
