Dec 29, 2009Posted in: General ChatQuote from Retralunasome new screenshots:
EDIT: LOL @ LED - you are always at the same position on your screens in the same dungeon on same boss - on older screens too XD
looks sweet, i would personally change some fonts too match the one on UF's..
and also align the buffs with the minimap and change the texture to a squared one instead of rounded borders on buff and minimap. :)
Dec 28, 2009Posted in: AddOn HELP!Quote from Ke11ettHave you added some borders in your Interface folder (IE Interface\PaperDollInfoFrame)? Mine doesn't look like that either.
heh a little tired here.. yeah i have UI-Tooltip-Background.blp and UI-Tooltip-Border.blp modified.. that's what makes the changes on the range frame. :P
Dec 28, 2009Posted in: AddOn HELP!Quote from DecibellllTwin, could you tell me what you did to get those boxes for range and health?
for range.. nothing.. default :) i've only changed font.
for bosshealth frame..remove part in green
<NormalTexture name="$parentTextureNormal" file="Interface\PaperDollInfoFrame\UI-Character-Skills-BarBorder"/>
and add this part to get the black border around the statusbars... same code used for doing it with timer bars..
<Layers> <Layer level="BACKGROUND"> <Texture name="$parentBackground"> <Color r="0" g="0" b="0" a="1"/> <Anchors> <Anchor point="CENTER" relativePoint="CENTER"> <Offset> <AbsDimension x="0" y="0"/> </Offset> </Anchor> <Anchor point="LEFT" relativePoint="LEFT"> <Offset><AbsDimension x="-1" y="0"/></Offset> </Anchor> <Anchor point="RIGHT" relativePoint="RIGHT"> <Offset><AbsDimension x="1" y="0"/></Offset> </Anchor> <Anchor point="TOP" relativePoint="TOP"> <Offset><AbsDimension x="0" y="1"/></Offset> </Anchor> <Anchor point="BOTTOM" relativePoint="BOTTOM"> <Offset><AbsDimension x="0" y="-1"/></Offset> </Anchor> </Anchors> </Texture> </Layer>
Dec 28, 2009Posted in: General ChatQuote from d32mjackazzYour raidframes aren't aligned 'perfectly' I think. :)
Anyway I still love the UI, might activate my free 7 days of play and make a new UI based on this one and FujiUI.
heheh you are correct group 5 is slightly off.. ive been playing around and sometimes i miss small details with aligning , thanks for pointing it out!
need some more inspiration on what i can change.. still feels unfinished somehow.. like always.. :P
looking forward too see you making new stuff if you get back..^^
Dec 27, 2009couple changes im testing out if i like it :PPosted in: General Chat
sweet stuff as always lyn, no surprise there :>
Dec 21, 2009Posted in: AddOn HELP!Quote from ocularisTwin2:
You can change it to something along the lines of
<FontString name="$parentName" font="Fonts\FRIZQT__.TTF" outline="NORMAL" text=""> <FontHeight val="12"/> </FontString>And see if that works.
nopes didn't do the trick for me.. i've tried changing fonts and codes everywhere now without luck :P
i got the bar text and all that how i wanted (didnt work with xml. managed to change them in the lua files) .. it's the boss health and range frame im struggling with..
here's how they look now.. i just want another font.. ;_;
thanks though :>
Dec 20, 2009hey, this is a little offtopic but i'll give it a try..Posted in: AddOn HELP!
does anyone know how to change the fontstyle or the font throught the lua or XML.. i have the font i want set on the bars.. but i want it to be outlined,monochromed.. and also want to change the font on the warnings and the range/bosshealth frame..
in the xml the fontpart looks like this..
<FontString name="$parentName" inherits="GameFontHighlightSmall" text="">
any hint on how to achieve this would be appreciated, tried lots of stuff without success :)
Dec 17, 2009Posted in: General ChatQuote from d32mjackazzLovely UI imo, tho the textsize on the buffs between the UF's look kinda huge. Same for the actionbar below. Would look better at the same size as the topright buffs imo.
I like the rest tho, would like to see an actual in game (raid) combat shot.
It's because i havent changed my old omnicc settings yet..:P
combat pic and some changes here and there..
Dec 16, 2009soo, im back for a little bit.. :PPosted in: General Chat
playing around some with ouf, here's the result so far...
the concept and layout is a copy more or less of phishr's sweet work.. just wanted to try make it in ouf :P

Looks really good! only thing i would personally change is making a crisp border and outlined text on tooltip! :P
Aug 31, 2009Posted in: General ChatQuote from dodgerslimJust guessing, but I'm going to assume it's an action bar. From bottom to top, it's blacksmithing, jewelcrafting, prospecting, fishing...and...two swirly things :confused:
you sir are correct! the swirly things are 2 macros i use when switching some profiles with talent specs :)
Quote from Daintontwin2, upload your screens somewhere else besides tinypic in the future because they resize 1680x1050 resolutions to 1600x1000. Nothing against tinypic at all, I love them, but resizing large resolution images stinks.
oh, wasn't aware..point taken. thanks :)
Aug 30, 2009Posted in: General ChatQuote from FlickorThe first gave more personal style than the 2nd.
Also, what addon is that below the totem buttons?
it's skada damage meter.
yeah, maybe you're right.. gonna play around some more.. ive been liking the healthbar portrait a bit with low opacity for a subtle look..
