Owell, dunno what solved my problem but it's solved. Decided to do a complete UI purge and rebuild to flush out the old and try a few new addons. Somewhere along the line of deleting all my saved variables and addons the problem disappeared...
Loving the bars, one of the few addons that survives every time I revamp my setup. :)
Yes I do. I shut off all mods I use on my main toon, and the tooptips still come up blank.
Funnily enough I've just come here to look up the same problem after ignoring it for a long time. Doing a bit of a UI revamp so came looking for a fix or alternative.
I'm largely baffled by it. Blank tooltips, no error generated (running only EBB, BugGrabber and BugSack)...
1280 x 1024 is the native resolution for most 17" and 19" TFTs... tbh I've never seen 1280 x 960 in use. Most current stats seem to show 1280 x 1024 around 10-30% (web site visitor stats) and 1280 x 960 is barely a blip ( < 1% ).
Exact same problem, even with the latest and the greatest, it just runs invisible on my taskbar. I have to right click close it and it comes up as a error/crash. I have .NET framework 3.0.
I wish I could provide more information but that is all that is happening >.o No text, just invisible menu. Have been using 1.8.46 for now because it's the newest one that actually works for me.
Rename the folder you have the WAU exe in (/WAU/ to /WAU2/ or something). If that works then it's a conflict with an old config/data file stored from an older version.
After that worked I did a search (all files/folders, hidden and system, etc) for *aceupdater* and deleted anything it found that wasn't part of the WAU main install. After that you should be able to run WAU as normal.
If it's not the latest version I get the "new version available" pop and I get the WAU tab in the task bar but no window appears. Latest version (1.9.2 atm) does the same (minus the new version prompt). Wish I could give more info but that's it, it just hangs indefinitely in the taskbar with no window...
Well, I've resolved my problem but I'd be interested into any insight about the cause. Downloaded the newest version with error reporting to see what it'd generate. Unzipped it to a temp folder rather than my usual WAU folder and it worked fine. Deleted the contents of my WAU folder, copied the new version there and it hung... renamed the folder to WAU2 and it works.
I'm guessing it's a problem with some app data stored somewhere but I've deleted everything I can find relating to WAU in a couple of temp and app data folders... and no dice.
Not to worry though, it works for me now. :) Might be worth a try for others having problems.
I don't know what all I can say about the latest versions not working that would help. All I can say is that 1.8.47 works and everything later doesn't (for me). I haven't done or changed anything.
Same problem here, anything after 1.8.47 no workie. If it's not the latest version I get the "new version available" pop and I get the WAU tab in the task bar but no window appears. Latest version (1.9.2 atm) does the same (minus the new version prompt). Wish I could give more info but that's it, it just hangs indefinitely in the taskbar with no window...
Problem solved, much appreciated. :) Just logged on for a few seconds to check that, I'll have a tinker with the other new features tomorrow. Thanks. :)
I'm having problems with a dead area on my UI that appears to be moveFrames related. I can't click on any ag_Unitframes frames positioned at the top left corner of my UI as there appears to be an inactive frame called TopMF sitting over them. Disabling moveFrames solves the problem.
I've tried moving TopMF using Visor2 but no joy. Using moveFrames 1.0.39
Why would you want to not sell some gray items? What else are you going to do with them? (Not trying to malign your request, just really curious about the purpose of it.)
RP servers. It's not unusual to see people wearing/wielding grays for RP purposes. (only reason I can think of)
I'd really like it if a mod like this or tankalize would let me, as a mage, have my (for example) TauntWarn and the tank's TauntWarn communicate over the addon channel, so that on my (squishy) end of things I could get an msbt or sct warning when the taunt fails. I can't always watch the chat, especially in situations where I need to know the status of the taunt.
OptiTaunt is another Aced alternative to Tauntwarn and Tankalize but also has an option to send a whisper to ToT if a taunt fails... annoying thing is that I'm currently running all three to try and decide which is best, but there's very little difference.
I've only ever used the Ace'd version, to be honest I didn't know it existed before it was Ace'd... Is it possible you have a pre-Ace'd FramesResized WTF file lurking around that the Ace'd version doesn't like?
That's about all I can suggest, but yea, it does work.

With the Skinner problem, you need to copy the FramesResized skin files from the AddonSkins folder to SkinMe folder within the Skinner addon folder.

Failing that, could the spacing max be increased? 50 isn't enough...
