I have an serious lag problem since 2.4. Any time an raidplayer disconnect or login (after an disconnect) pitpull produce serious lag which results alomst in an lockup for 5-10 seconds. This "lockups" are also present when nothing happens, like 24 players waiting for an disconnected player to pull an boss mob. My entire UI almost freeze for 5-10 seconds as soon as the player login.
I was able to narrow down this problem. The "lockups" are only when I use Pitbull. They are away as soon as I disable Pitbull. Has someone an idea to solve this problem? I love pitbull and dont want to move away, but this problem forces me to drop pitbull.

The delay is the bucketed update, in order to lower CPU usage it introduces an update delay. I've been using a direct update patch since the beginning because of it, because the author doesn't agree with my view: 'screw cpu usage, I want to see what happens asap'.
Bucketed update for mana/rage/energy is fine, HP is not.
Can I get this patch?
This is an serious problem for me and I'm currently consider to change back. I want to stay with agUF because I like the "clean view". I have now much more space on my screen after the chance from CTRA to agUF and it will be an hard step to went back. But healing is my job and some fights are very fast paced.
Oct 17, 2006Hello Andreas,Posted in: Unit Frames
What Events does agUF use to update the health bars?
I'm using agUF for around 3 weeks now and have some strange expierences over the last few days. Sometimes, I feel the health bars are updating very late and with an delay from around 1 second.
There where at least 2 different occassions:
1. Our last Patchwerk fight. It was the first Patchwerk fight where I used agUF. Most times I was "late" with my heal if I used the agUF target-frame or target-of-target frame. I switched my "visuell focus" from agUF to the oRA2 MT frames and was no more "late". Sometimes the agUF target-frame doesnt change at all where I can see an clear HP change on the oRA2 MT frame.
It looks like agUF is to slow to refresh the HP bars on the Patchwerk fight. Patchwerk hits with 1.2 delay and 4-6 healers counter this damage. The oRA2 Frames appear "faster" on update.
2. One of our shamans draw some adds in ZG. He said "I'm going down" in Ventrillo. So I looked at his raid-frame and try to get in heal range. He got only 3 adds and his HP bar goes from 100% to around 50% and further to 0%. There was an delay of around 2-3 seconds between this 2 bar updates. This mobs doesnt hit very hard and there must be much more smaller decrements, but his HP bar went down with only 2 updates at around 50% and than 0%.
I'm an big fan of your unit frames. I used MG/MG-2 since release and now transfered to agUF/oRA2 as an CTRA replacement.
But I'm no longer sure if I can trust this frames as an healer. I cant heal players who appear to have full hp when they are injured.
I will watch this more precise over the next few days. Please tell me, if you need further informations or have any tips to track this down.
Oct 12, 2006I'm currently using Nature Enemy Castbar and want to change to Chronometer/Antagonist.Posted in: General AddOns
They are looking fine but I'm missing one point. Chronometer display only Buffs/Debuffs created by me. Antagonist works only on hostile units.
I'm missing an addon which display buffs/debuffs like Chronometer but include also buffs/debuffs from other players on my target.
I'm an priest and want to see all active HOT's, Inspiration, Anchestral Healing on my current target. If someone else overwrite/refresh my last Inspiration, I want to see it. Same for other effects on my friendly target.
Is there an chance that Chronometer or Antagonist show all shorttime player-created effects on the current target? Regardless if they are created by me or other raidmembers.
Sep 14, 2006Hello Saroz,Posted in: Unit Frames
your raid frames look nice. Maybe they are the improvement I'm looking for.
I'm looking for 3 specific features:
- Possibility to duplicate groups and use different sort/group methods.
I like to use my default grouping and group the raid members per class. Additional I like to duplicate specific groups and group them as entire group.
For instance: Seperate groups for Warrior, Priest, Druids and so on and an separate group for raidgroup #2 and #4. All together with one addon.
Currently I'm using CTRA to group classes and use the ugly blizzard raidframes for the group "copies".
- Lock and Store/Reload different layouts optimized for different fights.
- Fade out or transparent coloring of raidmembers which are "out of range".
The optimum will be an configurable range check using an reference spell or an fast check with CheckInteractDistance(unit, 4).

I have a problem, my rightclick menu won't come up. I have it set in Clique to be ctrl+rightclick but it just brings up the addons config menu.
Clique will always overwrite the click combination of aguf...
Which is why he changed it (in Clique) from right click to ctrl+right click. Could you give us the function call for the menu so he can make sure he's telling Clique the correct action to perform in order to open the menu?
It is built into clique?
Binding "/aguf config" to ctrl+right click should be working.
Sep 8, 2006This "non-issue" problem strucked me at 5. September. I updated several ACE2 Addons and got the recent AceEvent Nil-Bug. My problem was to find the "bugged" AceEvent Lib, because this lib is part of many addons.Posted in: Libraries
So I used the trick from Sariash and installed !!!Libraries and delete all references in each ACE2 Addon.
I think this isn't an "non-issue" problem and such problems will increase with an higher amount of ACE2 addons. Its much easier to revert to an older library, if you know where they are located instead of finding the bugged library within 20+ instances.
Mayby it's possible to replace the !!!Libraries with an separate package where all libs included as standalone addons. Than you add an small tool to strip the entire addon tree from "embedded" libs or provide pre-build addons without external references.
Sep 7, 2006I'm currently using MG2 and consider to change my group frames to ag_UnitFrames.Posted in: Unit Frames
I'm an full time healer and miss the Aura docking method "Inside" to let the auras part of the player frame.
I have an problem with current available options, because my heals don't go to the selected player if I click some pixel to low and "target" the aura frame, which is currently not part of the player frame.
I hope Andreas can reintroduce the "Inside" aura docking method.
