Speaking of movers, can one be added for the "You have an open GM ticket" frame?

You can use MoveAnything or MoveIt for doing that, both are at Curse.

Unfortunately, the author of moveFrames hosted here at Wowace.com hasn't added it to the list of frames it can move.

Any chance on getting that title bar for the minion, and a quest count in it?

    My previous message:

    2. Could you add an option for Minion to have a title bar of some kind, perhaps with the total number of quests in it? Could be as simple as:
    nQuestLog 21/25

    Thanks. :)

Is there a current issue with Bongos and cyCircled? All of my regular bars are skinned just fine, but the petbar is still using the default Blizzard look. I don't have any other bar addons running except Bongos.

That is likely correct. CyCircled only recently was fixed to skin the class bar properly, so probably the pet bar hasn't been fixed yet. The code is there for the pet bar in the Bongos.lua file in the plugins folder, it just doesn't work.

    Tdurden,

The message that you copy-pasted should have been recognised as it contains various keywords and characteristics that should trigger the filter. I haven't seen this message myself yet, so if you happen to get it again can you:
    - Rightclick on the name of the spammer and mark him as spammer
    - Type:
    /sentry spam feedback <name of the spammer>
    - Send me a PM with the codesequence you get to see?

    greetings,
    Anea

OK, I'll do that next time for any I can catch. The often log off immediately, but I'll give it a shot.

In the meantime, can you please add the Guild Recruitment channel as one of the filtered ones? I see more and more spammers using this channel, and one of the beautiful things about SpamSentry is it catches this gold seller spam so I don't even have to see it. Since that channel is not currently covered, I get to see that spam in all its unadulterated glory.

Thanks for all your work on this mod, it has made playing much more tolerable. Now, if I could only get the GMs to stop wanting to talk to me every time I report a spam, I'd be really happy. I've modified my default GM ticket text saying it isn't necessary to contact me, but they do it anyway. :(

Here's one posted in the Trade channel that was not caught today, even though I have that channel selected to be filtered:

SELL Gold @ www.XXXXX.com with over > $ 600,000 USD Successfully Withdraw to PayPal + Moneybooker in the past 15 days!

Yes, the bad grammer is theirs, the message was exactly that (I removed the actual web site for posting here, of course). Sorry, didn't catch what level/class they were before they logged off. They also spammed several times to Guild Recruitment as well, SpamSentry doesn't appear to have the option to filter that channel.

Update: Got identical messages today in both Guild Recruitment and Trade channel, posted by Level 1 Warrior in Stormwind.

I am using Bongos right now ( used CT's mod - yeah I'm a noob ) and have to say I love it.... but right now I am looking for a addon / tool that will let me change the place where the tooltip will show up. Anyone go any ideas ?

CTCore will allow this, as does TipBuddy.

Any reason to use one over the other?

Not looking for a flamewar or anything -- just curious as I've used both and am torn (leaning to Bartender atm, but I miss the built-in ability to move the roll frame).

I prefer Bongos simply for configuration speed. I'm not a fan of using a menuing system like Bartender has to change settings for an action bar, it simply takes too long to set up and entire UI that way, IMHO. I find it much faster to use Bongos' menus. I also like that Bongos allows the keyring to be a separate frame, with Bartender it's connected to the bag frame and it's harder to fine tune the adjustments I like to make that way.

No one's able to help clean up my code a little bit? I thought that I had set everything up right, but none of my buttons show up. My code is posted 2 posts above. Please look at it and let me know if theres anything I should change.

Try posting it in the Developer's Corner forum instead, where the mod authors hang out. Much more likely to find people there who can help. :)

last few updates i have downloaded do have readable changelogs again. seems to contain a better formatted text file along with an xml file. anyone else notice this?

Yes, I noticed that as well. I don't care about XML, RSS, etc., just whatever works. If there is an easy way to see the changes like most mod sites allow authors to post them on the same page the mod is hosted (for authors who will actually do that), then that's great. The alternative is a human readable changelog with the mod itself, so Hooray, they're back!

LuckCharms has been added to SVN

this mod gives you 2 new slash commands you can use in a macro

This is also the name of an existing mod for a small toolbar to place icons on raid targets. Hasn't been updated since July '06, but still works with a toc update.

I am just a simple caveman lawyer, your modern words like XML, SVN, WAU, RSS and explanations of the new changelog format and reason for it confuse and confound me. I am not a machine, just a simple caveman, so where would I go to read these changelogs that have been designed to be read only by machines in your advanced and scary world?

    Rest in peace, Phil Hartman.

I notice the same issue as Cordelia. I'm not bothered by the false positive so much (last one was a level 70 warlock, posting an item link with the word "cheaper" in it), but I'm curious why the item links are in their code and not showing up as simply links. Thanks again for the cool mod though, makes my WoW experience a whole lot more pleasant.

posted a message on cyCircled - Circled buttons for more than just BT2
    Quote from N00bZXI »

    Precisely.

Hmm...I added the line to Core.lua for CyCircled (I assume that's where it goes) exactly where you said to put it, so those few lines read as follows:

    function cyCircled:SkinIcon(id, alias)
    	local skin = self.skins[self.db.profile.skin].icon

if not alias then alias = "Icon" end

    	self:SetPosition(id..alias, id, skin)
    	getglobal(id..alias):SetTexCoord(0.06, 0.94, 0.06, 0.94)
    end

But it doesn't appear to change anything for TrinketMenu's buttons, they're still out of alignment in the same way they had been, no matter which skin I use. Am I doing something wrong? Any ideas? BTW, I'm using CyCircled with Bongos (not BT3) as well, not sure if that makes any difference.
