    Just a cosmetic request here, would it be possible to make it so you can actually move the Grid window out of the bounds of the screen. I ask this because moving the window up against the edge still leaves about a 5-10 pixel buffer.

    We realise this, and this is why we're specifically requesting for it to be branched off into a module. It's ridiculous that we have to download these high-quality minimap images that, in and of themselves, rarely change while the actual code in Cartographer changes constantly.

    I've asked for this to happen no less than 3 times in the big Cartographer thread with no responses. It's very silly to have to download 2mb of maps every time you update the core mod. I dare say Cartographer is one of the few addons that is so quickly and easily chewing through bandwidth for wowace.com.

    Just trying to optimize my UI now and am going to try a near-buttonless UI so am keen on a good cooldown mod. I stumbled across this and like it a lot however I'd really like to be able to disable/change the string for the cooldown text as I really only need to have the icon and the time remaining.

    The response I got from asking this question a few times was "no" because when agUF updates the health/mana bars is when the UNIT_MANA event is triggered. If you're already at full mana when you come out of shapeshift form then the event doesn't trigger (because your mana isn't changing) so you need to cast a spell for it to show your mana. I'm sure someone could come up with a hack specifically for shapeshifting classes to force an update, but that someone is not me.

    Still loving Ark Inv, just got a few bugs/requests to follow up.

    1) Just reiterating a request to have an anchoring option so that we can "pin" Ark Inv to a corner other than TOPLEFT. I have my Inventory in the bottom right of my screen and I'm constantly having to move it whenever the bars rearrange themselves.
    2) Would be great if we could have less than 15 or 16 categories. I personally only use 6 and when I go into edit mode it just displays a whole heap of category placeholders. Maybe now that you have the ability to add/remove categories it could be a good time to make it auto-expanding with a simple (+) button to add a new category.
    3) I'm getting a strange bug every now and then (more often than not actually) that's forcing me to keep Blizzard standard bag frames enabled. For some reason when you shift+click or click+drag on stacks of items it usually picks up the wrong item. This is especially problematic for me because I'm a Mage and an Enchanter so I need to constantly split stacks and restack items.

    Anyways, keep up the good work and hope to see some more improvements to it in the near future :D

    Yeah, protecting against standard class buffs is a bad thing. Another example I can think of is when Rogues want to be cancelling their MoTW on Skarem so that the Mages have less resistances to try and plow through when sheeping them.

    Dragonslayer's Blessing

    along with all the default Flasks

    Supreme Power
    Distilled Wisdom
    Chromatic Resistance
    Flask of the Titans

    and probably a bunch that I've forgotten.

    I don't believe so. I believe that agUF/mECB suit their purpose purely *because* they are a set of unit frames. I think that including an enemy cast bar module in oCB would be a perfect addition to it because the only other person you're tracking is your enemy. You're not tracking anything else (nor should you be) with oCB. It's very much an act/react type of situation with a single target, especially for me as a Mage and with the nerf to counterspell effectiveness.

    It's easier if each addon does one thing, precisely that. See Chronometer and Antagonist, I remember they were once merged (or about to). Honestly, they're better as 2 separate addons, gives more choice, as many only want self-timers.


    Antagonist gives me more information than I need, oCB is just that, a casting bar. As such, this is a very valid addon for oCB (or CBR). I don't really like all the "fluff" associated with Antagonist either. I like the simplicity of oCB because it doesn't try to be anything more than a casting bar.

    Err, Macs don't *have* an alt button funkydude, so having a Mac would well and truly make a difference. Maybe just have a check in there to see if it's alt OR "option" which is the Mac equivalent.
