what selfcast are you using? the blizzard one, an action bar one, stand-alone mod?
ild like to try to isolate the issue and see if its bongos, detox or some combination etc etc lol
thanks in advance :)
Bongos AutoSelfCast feature simply enables the stock Blizzard option. Turn these both off and download Ergo(ego?)Cast from the SVN by Ammo. Very simple and efficient selfcast mod that bypasses the new Blizz options (which works very well with Bongos, Detox and Clique).
Pre 1.12, Blizzard didn't have a stock option for Self Cast. So, upon that same fact, we can come to the conclusion that anybody using a pre 1.12 version of Bongos is using a different Self-Cast script.
And I can attest that the pre 1.12 version of Bongos Self-Cast works marvellously with Detox.
Getting this bug on one of the 1.12 realms that are up:
[2006/08/22 14:46:56-50]: Squishy\core.lua:366: attempt to index field `WatchSpells' (a nil value)
Squishy\core.lua:366: in function `obj_method'
AceEvent\AceEvent-2.0.lua:289: in function `TriggerEvent'
AceEvent\AceEvent-2.0.lua:963: in function <...terface\AddOns\Clique\libs\AceEvent\AceEvent-2.0.lua:955>
*Edit*
I assume this is a Clique library incompatability and I just need to wait for other mods to get updated.
I like Elk's a lot, although I think it would be really cool to see a buff mod that used Candybars. I just think they look so good, they ought to be on my screen all the time. :-p
Yeah there's definitely an issue with the live list. Which is interesting, because I'll be curing people, but they won't be displayed on my live list. It sees them when I hit the button to cure/dispel, but not when it's just looking to add to the live list. If that makes any sense.
So dunno, doesn't seem to be attributable to the 1 second refresh rate.
I don't know one way or the other honestly. But in the end I don't know that it really matters if only one instance of each required library is being loaded.
Yeah, I guess it just doesn't make sense for me to be thinking about how much health somebody must have lost and changing pace with each different class I choose to heal. I'm just saying I'm not going to use it as it is currently designed on my Priest, and I don't seem to be the only one. If you're making the unit frames for yourself, then I agree, there's no need to change the functionality. I just think that if you expect others to use it you need to be more mindful of the features they (think) they need.
Yeah, I agree. Really nice for non-healers, who just need a general overview of the fight and who has aggro. But for my Priest, I think I'll stick with PRaid.

Dunno how high res it needs to be, but this probably looks more cloud'ish and definitely looks more Mokura'ish. But if it doesn't get used, meh.

I suggest Mokura, the evil poison/disease cloud. :-p

In theory it might be a good idea, but I'm afraid it would just look like one big wall of text.

His first post answers this, actually.
