Fixed up the remaining edge cases, and also fixed the packaging (so if you aren't running disembeded libraries and you had trouble installing DebuffEnough, that should be fixed now).

    http://www.wowace.com/projects/debuff-enough/

DebuffEnough scans a party/raid to determine what debuffs are available to place on a mob, and calculates the best option for each debuff slot based on class and talent availability. It then tracks the debuffs that are placed on a mob and warns you if a debuff is missing, or a sub-optimal debuff option is being used.

It's still very much alpha, but should be feature complete and could withstand a few brave testers to provide feedback.

I think most authors here will recommend, if you're new to Lua and addon development in general, that you start by learning to write an addon without Ace libraries first. Start small, write something very simple (my first addon when I was learning was just a box that I could move around and change the color of - it didn't do anything). There are a number of good addons authoring guides on wowwiki and other resources that you can follow to write some basic Hello World things. A good way to learn is to look at the code from other addons and get an idea for how they work.

Yep, I've been using ButtonBin as well, and it gives me a fairly close approximation to FuBar.

Thanks for the link, I'll keep an eye on it and see if that's something I can remove.

Was it? I know that Blizzard added the ability to see the health of NPCs, but I didn't realize that they started updating the health faster. Is that the case?

You can download any version directly from wowace by clicking on 'Download' in the upper right-hand corner (it's right below 'Download from Curse'). Also, at the top of the project page is the 'Files' link that gives you the list of all previous versions, of which you can also download any one directly from wowace. These are available if you're registered and logged in.

But, honestly, there isn't really a reason to do this anymore. In the old wowace, while it was commonly billed that anything coming from the SVN was alpha at best, it was also commonly known that many end users were directly downloading from the svn and so authors generally tried to make sure that what was checked in was good to go. Actual development happened through various conventions such as branching and tagging to keep the truly alpha versions separate from what was shown on files.wowace.com.

With the new version of wowace, authors actually have the tools to mark the quality of their releases and (more importantly), have releases that ARE ready for distribution automatically published for pickup by end users. So now, if a version is marked as alpha, you really can believe that it's alpha and you probably shouldn't be picking it up. The version that's available on Curse is the version that the author intends for you to use.

You wouldn't be the first to make the noncom pet request, ant1pathy. It doesn't really match up with the intent of the addon, though, and there are already a number of good addons that allow you to handle them (probably more after the expansion).

Thanks for the bug report! I'll see about improving the display of tracked auras that stack.
