Okay, here is my "Highest Heals" display set, as pulled from the saved variables:

Why does [MaximumHealingDoneAbility] return blank? >_<

Give r57350 or later a shot and let me know if it works better for you.

Color me confused because when I have the Death view selected it lists everyone by name and has nothing to do with what time they died. Now when I select an individual and drill down, their deaths are sorted by time. But I want that at the level above as well.

Enable the flat death list, not the death list.

Speaking of text tags and offsets... the absolute offsets SUCK!! Could we please have them work like FUBAR where they don't overlap each other. Sure, it might be nice to add a custom cushion but I'd happily pass on that for the benefit of not having to custom tweek the absolute position of each tag. This goes back to my overall complaint about the setup of Assessment... it could be made a lot more user friendly :-)

You're welcome to commit code if you want to fix it to make it better. Updating it is unfortunately just not a priority for me at the moment.

I have the same problem with death log timestamps. I've increased the offset on the second text (damage source) so there's a large visible gap, but the timestamp text still just shows "-..." and won't take advantage of the space. I'm not sure what else I can do. Using a UI scale of 0.8.

You need to change the right text offsets of the actual timestamp to give it more space. ie. Text 1.

From what I understand, the 2.4 patch is going to be changing the combat log significantly, and I'd imagine that will require quite a bit of work to keep Assessment working properly. At this time do you intend to make Assessment compatible with 2.4?

Right now, the only answer I can provide is "I don't know." I'm changing jobs and shifting country in a couple of weeks, and all the stuff that keeps people busy associated with those two things.

Also, I'd like to be able to sort the Flat Death List by Time of Death rather than Number of Deaths. How many times someone died is on inconsequential value, I'm using the tool to determine where the failing point was and how it happened, and that usually involves finding out who died first/second/third. (Especially on fights like Archimonde where you need to figure out who died to doomfire/airburst first)

That's exactly what the flat death list in Assessment there already is.... deaths organize by time.

Could you add a MaximumHealingDone tag to your list of things to look into? I have to ask newbs using SW_Stats to post "biggest heal" lists. :(

r57051 - now has MaximumHealingDone and MaximumHealingDoneAbility tags.

(If you want to use them, make sure you set Data->Healing->Maximum Heal Data gathering option)

I'm getting a different taint from Aloft, doesn't affect my overall gameplay, tho.

12/6 23:12:01.906 An action was blocked in combat because of taint from Aloft - <unnamed>:Hide()

Committed some code that should stop these errors from occurring.

Post further if the problems persist.

Seal of Blood damage done to the player is being included in the Fight Damage Dealt, Damage Dealth, and DPS tabs, as well as in the breakdown of damage done by skill.

Seal of Blood is a horde-only paladin seal that causes each melee hit to do additional damage to the mob equal to 35% of weapon damage, with the drawback that it does 10% of that damage to the paladin as well.

The damage done to the paladin himself shouldn't be counted in the damage dealt tabs, I believe, as they meaninglessly inflate the dmg done by the paladin.

Posted on the elitist jerks forums, but here also:

    ust to clarify.

The overall Fight Damage Dealt, Damage Dealt and DPS readouts do *NOT* count Seal of Blood damage. Those tabs only show EnemyDamageDealt or EnemyDamageDealt/CombatTime.

If you click into it, then it shows a full breakdown including damage done to self, but it isn't added into the total. You can remove them from the breakdown too using [Amount-FriendlyAmount] rather than the usual [Amount] tag.

If it isn't behaving properly, then I'll have to put it on my list of things to look into when I find time ><

Roartindon, I had assumed that since no changes had been done since October that you were offline, or working on something else now, and since I had seen no problems in the addon with 2.3, it would be ok to update the TOC.. Now I know better.

Sorry, my message wasn't meant to be chastising - apologies if it came across that way. I actually do appreciate it that people bother to update the .toc and other parts of the addons with various improvements. It was meant to be more of an explanation of what went wrong.

So if 2.4 comes along and it works fine, anyone feel free to update the .toc; but please be careful :)

When speedymon decided to update Aloft's .toc to say it was 2.3 compatible, he also inserted some garbage characters in the file - the net result was that CoreModules/CastBarOverlay.lua wasn't being loaded at all, and causing the problems all listed above.

I've committed a fixed .toc file, which should rectify the problem.

I've seen the report feature for Assessment mentioned before, but I can't seem to find it. I looked on the wiki and tried all the menus and even / commands. If someone could point me in the proper direction, I'd appreciate it much.

either use /asr or right click on the title of the assessment window -> report -> <etc>

    hi,
i changed the font for the bars, but now the Death Recent Event Log only shows ... in the first column, is it somehow possible to change the width of the column so i can see the numbers ?

Go to display sets -> Death Recent Event Log -> Text -> Text1 and adjust the offsets so that there's enough space to show the new font.
