    posted a message on Certain Ace2 addons stop updating after a death
    Just recently (in the past couple of weeks) I've started having trouble with a couple of addons. My UI mod combination hasn't changed at all in the past 6 months or so but sometime in the past couple of weeks an update has caused me some problems.

    Basically after dying in an instance and becoming a ghost outside sRaidframes and ElkBuffBars both stop updating.

    Elkbuffbars - This will no longer update with new buffs at all even once i've resurrected and cast them
    sRaidframes - Similarly, neither buffs nor health bars nor range checks update once i've resurrected - displaying every player out of range, with no buffs and not updating their health

    Whilst this is happening, no error messages are generated and my other Ace2 addons all work perfectly, with Pitbull still accurately displaying health bars.

    This situation usually remians anywhere from 2-10 minutes when suddenly (usually after entering combat for a few seconds) these addons once again start functioning like normal. This is accompanied by a temporary drop in framerate - it seems whilst the addons hog CPU time. Reloading the UI also fixes the problem but I'd prefer not to do this every time I die.

    Has anyone got any ideas what is causing this? I'm guessing it is probably library based as it's affecting several addons.

    Is there any way to bulk mark all quests for a character as done within a certain zone?

    The reason I mention it is that i've been using Cartographer_Quests since the first day of TBC but sometime after that the mod was changed from just remembering quest givers locations to remembering the actual quests. Recently i've been levelling an alt through TBC which has resulted in a lot of Yellow ! appearing for my main character as he did these quests before Cartographer started saving the quest information.

    I know I can manually change these using a right click, but doing this for several hundred TBC quests that were never saved on my main character would be ridiculously tedious.

    Was hoping someone could help me with SCT Custom Events. I've tried to set up the following to display Lightning Shield charges.

    When I initially buff Lightning Shield the following event correctly executes:

    [19] = {name="Lightning Shield! (3)", type="buffself", search="Lightning Shield", r=0/256, g=256/256, b=0/256,class={"Shaman"}},


    When Lightning Shield fades (i.e. all charges used up) the following event is also correctly executed:

    [3] = {name="Lightning Shield! (0)", type="fadeself", search="Lightning Shield", r=0/256, g=256/256, b=0/256,class={"Shaman"}},


    However, my problem concerns charges 2 and 1, I cannot seem to get an event to trigger for these. I set up the following:

    [17] = {name="Lightning Shield! (2)", type="buffself", search="Lightning Shield", buffcount=2, r=0/256, g=256/256, b=0/256,class={"Shaman"}},
    [18] = {name="Lightning Shield! (1)", type="buffself", search="Lightning Shield", buffcount=1, r=0/256, g=256/256, b=0/256,class={"Shaman"}},

    When I go from 3->2 charges and 2->1 charges event [18] is executed both times and never [17]. I cannot seem to get SCT to distinguish between the different charges of Lightning Shield.

    Has anyone else had this problem?

    Yeah i'd like to second this.

    I know it's a relatively minor thing, it's just that I run !StopTheSpam to suppress AddOn loading messages and it works perfectly for every mod except ironically SpamSentry whose loading message gets through the filter.

    Please don't take my comments as in anyway contributing to the flame war going on in this thread, my information is purely for Ironhand and other people that want a useful curing mod

    Nice to see someone feels the same way. After finding out Detox wouldn't be updated I decided to give Decursive 2.0 a go and can report that it is accurately picking up the curses that Detox was missing. I recommend you give that a try. It does have its own mini unit frames which I wouldn't use either but it was easy enough to just turn this feature off. One other feature it does have which may also be interesting to you as a mage is it can report charms so you can quickly polymorph the person - something that i've not found on other mods. One minor issue I do have with Decursive at present is that it seems to report some curses twice at the moment when there's only one on the person but I guess seeing the message twice is better than not at all and guessing this will be fixed as it's still in active development.

    Does anyone else have the weird bug with this mod that the Fubar "controls menu" is repeated twice?

    On the menu for BattlegroundFu I get the following:

    Click Displays Scoreboard
    Hide default battle objectives fram
    [etc.]

    Show icon
    Show text
    Show colored text
    [etc.]

    Show icon
    Show text
    Show colored text
    [etc.]

    I.e. the plugin commands related to Fubar are displayed twice for some reason. Am using the latest version and this seems to have persisted for some time.

    I'd love to see this implemented too. I adore QuestsFu and it saves me so much time than going back to the clunky quest log, but it's frustrating that on Elite quests I can find everything out from QuestsFu mini details pane except for the Suggested Players and I then have to open the Quest Log find the same quest and get it from there.

    Is Detox still in active development? I still find the mod useful grouping (in raids sRaidFrames make it easy to spot debuffed people but in a 5-man group my Discord Unit Frames don't have a similar option which is where Detox comes in).

    However of late i've noticed it being unreliable. I have all filters off (so everything should be shown) but as a mage, some curses are getting missed and not being displayed in Detox. One example of this is the Curse of the Shattered Hand from Shattered Halls. If cast on me, then Detox pops up a warning but when cast on group members it doesn't alert me. As the spell works for me, it seems there must be some sort of error with the group scanning. I am using the latest revision 25922.
