posted a message on DogTag Questions Go Here
Looking for some help re-writing some 2.0 dog tags for 3.0(boy am I regretting lazy and not doing this earlier), I'll include what they were to make it easier to know what I'm looking for:

Player Health: Missing HP | Current HP | Max HP | afk/dnd/dead info
    [~Status?MissingHP:Short:HideZero:HPColor] | [~Status?CurHP:Hide([MaxHP]):Short:HPColor] | [Status:Gray:MaxHP:Short:Color(2A8430)] | [AFKDND]

Player Mana: Max MP | Cur MP | hides current MP if at max mana
    [MaxMP:Short:Color(1E57AB)] | [~HasNoMP?CurMP:Hide([MaxMP]):Color(81BEF7)] | [~HasNoMP?MissingMP:HideZero:Color(1E57AB)]

    ToT/ToTT Name/Health: Guess this was just % hp/dead info | Name/afk info
    [~Dead ? ~IsMaxHP ? PercentHP:Round:Percent:HPColor] | [Name:Trunc(20):ClassColor] [AFKDND:Angle]

If theirs a list with all these lines/commands thats pretty simple to understand(my understanding of code is pretty basic so it'd need to be pretty straightforward :P) a link to that would be helpful too.

    Now u lost me completely...

U want to change the "Dead" "Ghost" "Disconected" texts or do u just want show them?

To show the text + timer just add Status to the tag.

To change the text output without loosing the timer you have to edit the lua.

Sorry, I'll try to be more clear. I just wanted timers along with whatever the status is, ie "Dead:2:32". Right now all I get is "Dead"

to get durations u have to edit the lua file itself.

This as far as i understand is cos the timer output is part of the actual text and not an element of its own, if u edit the tag to change the text output it will remove the duration timers output aswell

Open dogtag lua in a text editor and find/replace the following sections.

    format(L["Ghost"], L["Dead"], L["Ghost"], L["Dead"])

    replace with

    format("Run!", "RIP", "Run!", "RIP")

    and

    format(L["Offline"] .. " (", ")")

    replace with

    format("DC" .. " (", ")")

This will give you an output of RIP!/Run!/DC x:xx:x when using the normal unmodified tag for status.
(Thanks to Seerah for helping me on this one before)

Maybe it's not possible with the tag I have but I know for sure I've had a tag in the past(can't remember of course) that has shown me timers on dead and or ghost people, and I didn't have to edit a lua to get it either :\.

I tried doing as you said and still do not have timers as well.

The [AFKDND] tag shows dead and offline as well.

How do I use this tag? I tried just replacing what I had with [AFKDND] and got nothing.

What do I have to do to get durations for dead and offline in my HP tag?

    [~Status?MissingHP:Short:HideZero:HPColor] | [~Status?CurHP:Hide([MaxHP]):Short:HPColor] | [Status?Dead?Text(RIP)!Offline?Text(DC)!Status:Angle][AFK:Angle]

All I currently get is RIP for dead and DC for offline, no durations like I get for AFK though.

Try adding these modifiers to hide values when at max for HP and MP.

    :Hide([MaxHP])
    :Hide([MaxMP])

    That worked, thank you.

Looking for some help with hiding numbers when they're at 100%.

What I've got so far for a persons health for example(I'm a healer I need lots of numbers :P)

    [~Status?MissingHP:Short:HideZero:HPColor] | [~Status?CurHP:Short:HPColor] | [Status?Dead?Text(RIP)!Offline?Text(DC)!Status][AFK:Angle]

Now missing HP hides fine when it's 0 but I'm not sure how to add lines to current HP.

I'm also trying to do this for mana and if it makes a difference heres the tag I use for MP.

    [MaxMP:Short:Color(1E57AB)] | [~HasNoMP?CurMP:Color(81BEF7)] | [~HasNoMP?MissingMP:HideZero:Color(81BEF7)]

I've had an issue that only started recently, I can get justify to work on my combat log frame(I want it justified right) and it looks and works fine, but on any log out it resets back to left justification, the options for justify still show it as right but it's left :\. Updated Prat as of today and also tried removing my wtf files related to prat and still no luck.

    Try:
    [[~Status?IsMana?[IsMaxMP?MaxMP!FractionalMP]!IsRage?CurMP:Hide(0)!~IsMaxMP?CurMP]:Color(8888ff)][Status:IsMana?PercentMP:Percent:Short:Prepend( | ):Color(8888ff)]

Thanks that worked fine however I tried a few things out and think I prefer just showing mana missing rather then a fraction, I took what you gave me and came up with this:

    [[IsFriend?~Status?MissingMP:HideZero:Short:Color(8888ff)]!IsRage?CurMP:Hide(0)!~IsMaxMP?CurMP][Status:IsMana?PercentMP:Percent:Short:Prepend( | ):Color(8888ff)]

Only problem is the | does not go away when there is no mana missing.

Couple things, I'm creating a line for my mana bars for my pitbull frames, I want to show current/max and then the actual % of mana and so far through a bit of borrowing I've come up with

    [[~Status?IsMana?[IsMaxMP?MaxMP!FractionalMP]!IsRage?CurMP:Hide(0)!~IsMaxMP?CurMP]:Color(8888ff)] | [Status:PercentMP:Percent:Short:Color(8888ff)]

What I'm having trouble with is hiding the % if the class is a rogue or warrior.

Also, not as important but is it possible to color the "|" spacing line in between the values and %?

I love this mod and I've been using it for a while, however probably about a month ago it just stopped keeping track(I don't even have my previous top scores) of anything except regular melee hit's and crits, it works 100% fine on my warlock who is on a different server then my shaman so I'm sort of puzzled.

posted a message on MacAceUpdater - an update tool for Mac users.
Lots of wierdness going on with my updater atm. For a while I wasn't even able to open the application, it would just crash. So I redownloaded the application and installed it today, ran it the program and updraded to version 0.3.2, everything looked to be okay, but after it restarted the application after installing the newest version my settings were reset under preferences so I re did those and checked for addon updates but for some reason it's not seeing all of my addons, after the fubar pluggins in the list the updater shows me with nothing else installed. My preferences also do not save after quiting and reopening the application.
