    Thanks alot! I will try modyfing it for my debuff frame as well. I hope changing every reference to "buff" into "debuff" and "HELPFUL" to "HARMFUL" is enough.

    I tried searching for a TagCompiler FAQ regarding the syntax and I have been unable to find anything. I want my nameplates show up to 15 characters - if the name is longer (Tyrande Whisperwind comes to mind), it would shorten the name to 13 characters and add three dots (would end up looking like this: "Tyrande Whisp..."

    Any help please?

    Nope, that doesn't work. The panel just sits there, visible all the time, buffed or not.

    Will do with the chat thingy, but could you please elaborate further on the buff part? Pretty please, I can modify existing scripts, but I still cannot make new ones from scratch, I am just too nooby for that :P - I tried looking for other similar scripts, but the only ones I have found were for eePanels2 :(

    Edit: ChatFrameEditBox found, not on WoWWiki (searched it for about an hour or so, no results) but in MoveAnything's code... Don't ask :P

    I have a _very_ annoying problem with Quartz' Swing timer. Specifically, I swing, wait 3.6, 0 goes by and the countdown still continues into the negative territory.

    I really only want the swing timer, so if there is an another mod that supports that, would anyone be so kind and give me a tip please? :)

    This is totally unrelated to the main topic (the conversion from Ace2 to 3), but seeing as the Ace3 incarnation is the future of Prat, I figured this is the place to ask about new stuff.

    Are you planning to expand the "Tabs" module, something that would enable the user to ie. change the borders, position regardless of its parent chatframe etc.? That is really the only thing that I am missing from this addon, and I do not really think that with all the options Prat is giving me I could even consider moving to a different mod.

    I am currently trying to make a kgPanel show/hide depending on whether the player has at least one buff on himself or not (it is essentially a backdrop for the buff icons, does not change with the number of the buffs, it either is or is not there).

    I was also wondering how I can make a frame show when I am typing a chat message (again, a backdrop for the chat input box)

    Any help please?

    Before I updated to BT4 (great so far, btw), I used a macro for marking my arena teammates with lucky charms. However, not all of them could fit in a single macro, so I broke it into two macros, with one linking to the other.

    /targetexact Arthenik
    /script SetRaidTargetIcon("target", 8)
    /cleartarget
    /targetexact Yappy
    /script SetRaidTargetIcon("target", 7)
    /cleartarget
    /targetexact Domin
    /script SetRaidTargetIcon("target", 5)

    The link doesn't work anymore (duh), but changing it to BT4Button54 doesn't fix the problem either. I tried finding out the new name of the button, which is BT4Button54Secure, but nope, that doesn't work either.

    Any help please?

    Hi, I want to script a button that would switch between Omen and Recount when I click it. I tried something like

    function Omen:Toggle()
    function if Recount.MainWindow:IsShown() then 
    Recount.MainWindow:Hide() 
    else 
    Recount.MainWindow:Show();
    Recount:RefreshMainWindow() 
    end
    end


    I figure the problem is with the ends (I should probably put the first one right before the second function), but when i try that, hit Apply and reload my interface, the new script is not saved. There might also be some other problems with this script, would anyone be so kind and point them out to me please?
