    posted a message on Better Reputation from Minimalist, nothing else
    I use Minimalist, but literally the only part I keep enabled is the Better Reputation feature, which if you don't use Minimalist prints in chat something that looks like this (roughly; I'm not quoting something directly):

    Game: You gain 250 reputation with Shattered Sun Offensive.
    Minimalist: You need 4250 reputation for Revered with Shattered Sun Offensive.

    I'm wondering if there's any kind of minimal (heh) or singular addon that does *just* this, without all of the other Minimalist functions? Specifically, I have FactionsFu and all, but I want a mod that prints out the reputation needed to reach the next level every time I gain reputation.

    Well, nevermind. I configured in a different way (through the BF FuBar plugin instead of through the AddOns panel in the Interface menu) and it worked just fine for all bars. *shrug*

    posted a message on bongos3+buttonfacade
    I realize that at the moment ButtonFacade support in Bongos3 is not native yet. In the meantime, I am using Bongos3_ButtonFacade. While it does skin the original/default action bar, it doesn't seem to be doing anything with the other bars that I've created. Pic to illustrate:

    There's 4 bars there. The bottom one, with Serenity, is the default/stock "Bar 1". The other 3 are bars I've created. This was all done on a completely fresh install. So I'm left wondering if there's some step I missed to get BF to skin the 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc Bongos bars or if support is simply limited so far.

    posted a message on Attaching eePanel to (expanded) Omen
    This is probably a bit of a dumb question, but I've done some searching and can't quite find a solution/figure this out for myself. I attach an eePanel to OmenAnchor (name of frame found by using /print GetMouseFocus():GetName()). It covers the full area of the Omen frame if I have it set to show test bars (and without reloading UI, getting into a party and showing real threat bars).

    However, Omen's frame resets itself to a single bar size every time the UI is reloaded, and eePanels is doing the same. The problem is, when Omen expands back out again, the eePanel doesn't. Can I make the eePanel stay the full size, or expand with Omen? Or can I make Omen stay full-size all the time?

    posted a message on Autobar (Toadkiller)
    Just to elaborate, I'm having the same problem as Malta and everyone else. The strange thing is that there are no error messages and no weird behavior other than the item just not being used. The bars pop out as expected, mounts switch to the "active" one, etc., but the item does not actually get used.

    posted a message on Post cool PitBull layouts here!
    I like cralexns's layout a lot, but I can't seem to resolve the portrait model height issue.

    For my own character (NE) it's perfectly at eye level. But my various targets is anywhere from too much forehead (humans mainly) to too much nose (Draenei). I'm not entirely sure it's race based.

    @cralexns did you do something with your height/width/scale or some other per-user setting to make your portraits consistent?

    Any word on why the effective healing module is no longer showing any data? I'm not getting any errors, it just doesn't display anything for that (everything else is working).

    After applying the above fix, the error has disappeared. However I'm also suffering from my autobar buttons having the horrible black square effect behind them. Skinning on BT3 and Trinket Menu is working fine, just Autobar that has a glitch. Anyone know how to resolve this?

    That's the reason why I didn't update the SVN with my fix, since it was a fix that I wasn't totally sure would fix the whole problem. And I don't like tinkering with other's mods without their consent.

    IMO people need to chill a bit with the cries for updates all the time, it's only been a few days. Applying the fix i posted yourself isn't hard or take a long time, or just living with that it doesn't skin your mods isn't gonna kill you. Waiting for the addon owner to make the correct update will make things run smoother. Just my 2 cents.

    I'm just reporting issues in the hope that they get fixed, not crying for updates.

    ive had the black squares with autobar icons and cycircled since 2.0 came out. I have tried all sorts of things and finally gave up. I just assumed everyone else had the same prob.

    Mine did, then it went away after an update many weeks ago. It shows back up if I apply Murazorz's fix to the GetElements bug.

    Add the following to the plugins\Autobar.lua file
    function cyCircled_AutoBar:GetElements()
    	return {
    		["Main"] = GetLocale() == "koKR" and "기본바" or true,
    	}
    end

    It will solve the problem.

    I added this, and things are indeed properly circled again though I don't really know what Korean has to do with anything (but anyway...). Trouble is, though the AutoBar icons are circled, they still show a square item background outside the circles improperly.

    posted a message on CooldownCount (Ace2)
    With CooldownCount enabled, I'm receiving errors on Ace2 about the Shapeshift bar (for druid, paladin, rogue...). I posted initially here to narrow down the problem: http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=4223.0
    It includes the error messages.

    Disabling CooldownCount removes the issue. Is there anything I can do to fix it? I like my cooldown counts... :)

    Quote from Undarl »

    I experienced these errors as well with my rogue. In my case I tracked the problem to CooldownCount. I don't use Bartender or any other bar mod, though.

    Thanks! CooldownCount is indeed causing the problem; I recently added it to the mix after Bartender3 removed support for cooldowns. Disabling has removed the problem. I will see about reporting this on the CooldownCount thread...

    posted a message on Shapeshift bar protected calls?
    I update the Ace addons I use almost daily. In the last few days, I've started getting a series of error messages in my BugSack. They follow this pattern:

    I get 10 of these, 1 for each ShapeshiftButton1-10

    [2007/01/15 08:54:22-44-x7]: <event>ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED:AddOn 'Ace2' tried to call the protected function 'ShapeshiftButton1:Show()'.
    <in C code>: in function `Show'
    Interface\FrameXML\BonusActionBarFrame.lua:217: in function `ShapeshiftBar_UpdateState':
    Interface\FrameXML\BonusActionBarFrame.lua:151: in function `ShapeshiftBar_OnEvent':
    <string>:"ShapeshiftBarFrame:OnEvent":2: in function <[string "ShapeshiftBarFrame:OnEvent"]:1>

    ---

    Then 10 of these:

    [2007/01/15 08:54:23-44-x1]: <event>ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED:AddOn 'Ace2' tried to call the protected function 'ShapeshiftButton1:Show()'.
    <in C code>: in function `Show'

    <in C code>: in function `CameraOrSelectOrMoveStop'
    <string>:"CAMERAORSELECTORMOVE":5: in function <[string "CAMERAORSELECTORMOVE"]:1>

    ---

    Then 10 of these:

    [2007/01/15 08:56:25-44-x1]: <event>ADDON_ACTION_BLOCKED:AddOn 'Ace2' tried to call the protected function 'ShapeshiftButton1:Show()'.

    <in C code>: in function `securecall'
    Interface\FrameXML\SecureStateHeader.lua:958: in function <Interface\FrameXML\SecureStateHeader.lua:939>:

    ---

    I read about this in another thread, and there was mention of taint, but I loaded up TaintChecker, and followed the directions running a scan, a rescan, and a diff and there was nothing to report (no differences).

    I'm basically just looking for a starting point on what might be the problem. Since the error is for the ShapeshiftButtons, it seems like it might be Bartender3, except someone said it couldn't taint itself? But the errors aren't reporting on Bartender, just Ace2. Is Bartender tainting Ace2? Is that possible?

    Sorry for sounding like a noob and starting a new topic, but I wasn't sure if this should go in the Bartender3 topic or not...

    As a final note, it's not actually causing me problems as far as I can see. It's just filling up my BugSack, which is getting a bit spammy.
