I'm not actually the author of Automaton, and the actual author may want to include this, but personally I'd rather not have Automaton running /who queries. I like the simplicity of most of Automaton's modules; they each do one thing simply and well, without a bunch of fluff.

The /who query was already in Automaton - I didn't add that. The module deals with invites by running through a series of tests. Is this member in my guild? Is this member on my Friends list? If not, should I show /who info for them and/or should I decline, with or without a delay? I just added an optional test to the /who info that was already there, which to me seems in line with the purpose of the module.

That said, whether or not it's picked up for the main version isn't much of an issue for me. I found this change useful enough to make, and thought I'd offer it in case others did, too.

I seem to have not quite gotten the config options handling quite right. I tested the code to do the rejections by hardcoding it before putting that in, but it failed to run after I made it a config option. I've since added the reject option to the RegisterDefaults list, and that fixes the problem. Revised module attached...

I find this Addon to be very handy for dealing with some of the tedious tasks of the game.

Lately, my low and mid level characters have been getting a fair number of invites from spammers. If you accept, they'll tell you about their website and leave group, if you decline, they'll keep inviting you.

The group handling function of Automaton came closest to automating that handling, so I tweaked it to go a bit further. The change I made adds a configuration option to reject group invites from unknown (i.e. not in your guild or friends list) level 1 characters (all the spammers I've seen have been level 1), and automatically put them on your ignore list so they can't invite you again.

I've attached the modified group.lua file, in case this is something that you wish to include in the distribution. N. B. I only have English localizations for the new option text.
