Raid out of combat
Raid in combat
I actually had been using Caith's UI for a long time and started modding it more heavily recently, so this is actually a lot of stuff from Caith, much credit goes to him for some layout stuff, and his parrot which was basically untouched.
I might upload it at some point if I stick with it.

Aug 22, 2008Well I really only pvp on the mage, so I like the ease of seeing health. The portraits on the other hand are really not there for seeing anything practical TBH (aside from occasioanlly targeting someone out of LOS and seeing if they have some s4 etc). I just like they way they look :)Posted in: General Chat
The highlight feature is something I have thought about changing and have gone back and forth a few times, in the end I will probably get rid of it. Some of the stuff on the only shown bar I have are a little random and truthfully at least 1 or 2 were there because I used to click them (mount and bandage) which I don't anymore so I could switch in a CD like evo or something.
I might try to rework the UI slightly, but I will probably end up with something similar, I like the aesthetic and I am used to it :)

You have huge health bars and tiny mana bars. For myself, mana is far more important to me than health during fights.
I guess I didn't really see my unit frames as being so large. Do other people really find them oversized? Regarding the mana I never have to quickly look to see my mana, whereas if I am about to die seeing my health quickly helps me i think. Mana is never quite as pressing (this UI is more PvP oriented I really only raid on my paladin).
Aside from possibly scaling UF's down a bit any other suggestions? I know I would like to fix the panel that contains my minimap, it feels slightly awkward to me.

What's with the massive healthbars? Would look a lot better if they had a trim imo :o
Umm I guess I do it so that its easier to quickly look at them and see my health. I am not sure if I would be able to do the same if they were really small (like a lot of OuF seem to be). I could give it a try though, I would prefer a little bit of a more low profile look to my UI, but I start adding things and I guess I am used to it this way.
I might try it, we will see.
Aug 20, 2008My most recent UI - based off of some of Caith and Adnan. Add ons visible - Eepanels2, Quartz, Pitbull, Bongos2, Buffalo, Cycircled.Posted in: General Chat
CyCircled is caith theme, textures are all Hal's font is Accidental Presidency.
Any feedback is appreciated :)
May 18, 2008What do people use now for buffs that works with cycircled? My Buffalo stopped working with last patch, and I dont really care for buffalo2 (Satrina seems to work alright but I dont love the visual)Posted in: General Chat

I have spent a long time working on this UI and I think I like it more or less the way it is, any thoughts?
