Apr 22, 2008Any idea where this comes from?Posted in: AddOn HELP!
yes i am in stranglethorn and i think it has something to do with guildpositions since it is written in the guildchat.
but when i disable guildpositions the message does not go away.
it spams the guildchat about every 30 secs
Apr 6, 2008Sure does look like the Small Red Rocket icon from what I can tell:Posted in: General Chat
Unfortunately, putting this isn't working either. Argh!
["Interface\\Icons\\INV_Misc_MissleSmall_Red"] = 1,
It seems that icon is used for other things too. I have no way to tell which one matters:
Apr 6, 2008The mod helped me find this:Posted in: General Chat
However, unlike other mounts, the icon used in inventory is DIFFERENT than the one that shows up in the buff window. When using the inventory icon, it wont change the itemset so it appears I need the one that shows in the buff window. Unfortunately that one I can't identify.
Here are the two icons. Anyone recognize it as some other ability?
Apr 6, 2008I was recently lucky enough to get a new X-51 Nether Rocket mount from the TCG game but I'm unable to get any equipment mods (Itemrack/Outfitter/GnomeCloset) to handle it properly. I need to know the icon name so I can edit the .lua file like we used to do for Netherwings and Talbuks.Posted in: General Chat
With the Talbuk mount, we did:
["Interface\\Icons\\INV_Misc_Foot_Centaur"] = 1,
So I'm guessing the Rocket will have some sort of INV_Misc_Rocket icon name. Or maybe an Ability_Mount_Kodo style name. Can anyone help or at least point me in a direction to help myself? Or perhaps a mod that will work with it? I have no idea how to extract this information from the WoW files. Thanks in advance!

That is not a supported feature in the custom events right now. You can no longer easily search the combat log like in the past. What are you trying to do that the built in crushing blows doesn't do for you?
I used to play a warning sound file, it was a very helpful way to make crushes obvious no matter what was happening so I could fix any bad habits very quickly.
Apr 2, 2008I'm trying to make a custom event in SCT to detect crushing blows, but I'm having a hard time making it work. Searching the log isn't working anymore in 2.4 for me, even with search="(Crushing)". What can I do?Posted in: General AddOns
Mar 28, 2008Completely understandable. I just figured from his wording he was stopping all mods because things were so busy. Given that, I certainly hope he can find the time to sneak in Parrot sometime down the road. We can all get by on MSBT until then! =)Posted in: General AddOns
Thanks for setting me straight!
Mar 28, 2008Very, very sad to see Parrot being shelved for now but I understand real life takes priority.Posted in: General AddOns
Unfortunately, nothing has ever run as clean or as smooth as Parrot. I was a rabid SCT fan until the module split and became a bit clunky and never did exactly what I wanted. I'm now using MSBT which is close to Parrot but doesn't seem to run anywhere near as well. Side-arcing scrolls are shaky even at 150fps whereas Parrot was butter smooth.
ck, if you can ever find the time to get back into mods, please make this one the first! As for anyone else willing to take over, it would be greatly appreciated!
Mar 28, 2008It's LibRockConfig that's causing the problem.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
As a temporary workaround, around line 418, change the code to read:
buttonframe.Hide = function(...)
local innerframe = select(1, ...);
if (innerframe:GetName() ~= "LibRockConfig-1.0_MinimapButton") then
MBB_Debug("Hiding innerframe: " .. innerframe:GetName());
--if( innerframe.hasParentFrame ) then
local parent = innerframe:GetParent();
innerframe.isvisible = false;
if( not MBB_IsInArray(MBB_Exclude, innerframe:GetName()) ) then
Warning: This is NOT the "proper" solution. Hope the MBB author is watching and can come up with a better fix. Or maybe the LibRockConfig author knows how to change his addon so MBB doesn't have this problem.
