Sure, i can make such list. Not sure though if it will be usefull in tbc - debuffs like locust swarm or wrath of plaguebringer is unique. But some names reused by blizzard quite often. First debuff that comes to mind is Mind Flay (many mobs has it, and generally it kills very quickly,so target needs heavy healing)
Well, there probably are quite a few debuffs, and some of them arent of the 4 types we can dispel but still are relevant (mortal strike as one example - which either currently doesnt work or just no mob in MC ever casts it). Some ideas:
Mortal Strike -50% healing
Mortal Cleave -50% healing
Gehennas\' Curse -75% healing
Curse of the Deadwood -50% healing
Blood Fury -50% healing -50% healing
Brood Affliction: Green -50% healing
Necrotic Poison -90% healing
Conflagration 3000 dmg over 10sec
I currently cant provide the best concept to deal with all these debuffs (plus probably another 10-15 if we think hard) that all are related to raid dungeons. Personally I'd want them all to be displayed as center icon (while the less relevant stuff that needs clearing is displayed as border in my current setup). In other words this is just a suggestion for a future module or enhancement without really knowing how it should look yet - with the main idea that not every casual raider has to add them all himself. Any ideas?
Are there really many boss scenarios in the game where multiple debuffs of a specific type (magic, disease, etc) are used during an encounter? From a priest point of view, the only one that comes to mind is the lab packs in BWL, where the felguards cast Thunderclap and the Blood Elf sorcerers (?) cast Greater Polymorph. In that case, I'd like to ignore Thunderclap (or at least not see it's icon in the center of a Grid frame) but would most definitely want to see a Polymorph Icon.
If you're looking for a complete list of debuffs that would be beneficial for healers to know of (ie, display on a Grid unit frame), check out Simply Magical Healer (SMH) on WoW Interface. I spent alot of time testing that and providing the author with effect names to take into account. As of October, it was up to date with all boss encounters through Naxxramas.
Grid covers my 'who isn't buffed?' needs. Best part is that the lack-of-buff info can be easily hidden when I'm in combat (when I don't need to see it).
Uhm a circle for mages and their AE would be great and don't forget if a mage got the set bonus from NW. ;)
The range on this mod can be adjusted in game. However, until enemies show up on the minimap for mages, I don't see it being very useful in the situation you described.

Guys, why not create a tiny FuBar plugin that uses IsSpellInRange() (might not even have to be for PoH itself but there might be another spell with a similar range) to display the number of units in range? A simple "3/5" might be easier to read than staring at the minimap. Also you could combine the values with Holy Nova: 3/4 then indicates that a holy nova would heal 3 units, while a PoH would heal 4 units.
I'd be surprised if IsSpellInRange(Prayer of Healing) worked, since PoH isn't a targeted spell. While Smite and Holy Fire share the same base range and are modified similarly by the same distance increasing talents as PoH, would you get accurate results using IsSpellInRange(Smite) on a friendly target?
I don't like advertising my own mods, but for Prayer of Healing, you might want to have a look at PoHMonitor. I'm not sure whether it still works, though, haven't used it in ages since my priest is retired.
Got a download link that works? Google on turns up Curse Gaming with it, but the file isn't on any of their mirrors.
Is there an addon that keeps track of raid members that die during a boss encounter? Specifically, something that would spit out a list of people who died along with a timestamp that's relative to 0 (where 0 = enter combat). If it also tracks the cause of the killing blow and keeps track of druid battle rez, warlock soulstone usage and shaman self-rez, that would be a bonus.
Ideal sample output to a selectable channel (/raid, /guild, custom channel, etc):
00:00 Heigan the Unclean engaged.
00:24 Rogar died from Eruption.
00:26 Rogar gains Reincarnation.
00:49 Carpone died from Decrepit Fever.
01:11 Carpone gains Rebirth.
03:10 Cicero died from Decrepit Fever.
03:13 Cicero gains Soulstone.
I spent an hour yesterday banging my head against the wall with Bartender3 keybindings and hotkeys.
If I bound a key to a button and then later updated the keybinding, the button hotkey would not update to display the new keybinding until I set the old keybinding to a different button.
BAR1BUT1: Keybinding set to 'A'. 'A' is displayed as the hotkey.
BAR1BUT1: Keybinding set to 'B'. 'A' is still displayed as the hotkey.
BAR1BUT2: Keybinding set to 'A'. 'B' is displayed over button1, 'A' is displayed over button2.
I originally posted this as a Grid bug, but someone in the thread responded this was a known issue with TinyTip that had been reported. I don't see this bug listed anywhere (in the wiki, on the forums or at Thrae's WoW Interface portal). I'm running the latest (as of Dec 14) TinyTip available from wowace.com/files.
When hovering over a Grid unit frame while in combat, the tooltip displays this Player Options message:
Once out of combat, the tooltip correctly displayed information of the unit frame I was hovering over. I noticed this occuring while in Alterac Valley, if the zone makes a difference.
Bugs
- As a priest with Spirit of Redemption, Finder Reminder pops up it's dialog box when I die (Edit: The priest has Treasure Finding. The problem is that I'm dead when the dialog box is displayed.)
Suggested fix: Check for existence of 'Spirit of Redemption' buff before displaying the dialog box.
- Finder Reminder is popping up with a blank tracking selection box for characters with no tradeskill tracking skills. This is from a level 35 hunter:
It's a nice idea, but that specific implementation has alot to be desired. I also don't see it as a specific addon for IceHUD. That could be made standalone so it works with any unit frames addon.

Edit: Here's a pic:
Edit2:
Could TouristLib be the answer for automatic switching between indoor and outdoor zone settings...?

Both characters have need of it. I clarified my original post to avoid confusion.

Am I the only person experiencing this problem? If so, I'm inclined to look at conflicts caused by other addons I'm using.
Also, if I do not have incoming heals status enabled, does Grid still parse incoming heal information from other in-raid Grid users?

If that works to differentiate between bear (rage), cat (energy) and moonkin/tree/caster (mana), that's what he's looking for. :)

If you'd rather not have bugs posted here, or would rather have them posted elsewhere, just say so.

Is that a feature or a bug?
