Er... Since SSR disables itself while in-combat, I fail to see how this could be useful in a long running fight.

LOL, SSR can be used outside of long running fights, such as when grinding/farming.

Since Adirelle doesn't understand (or agree with) why a 30-second buff might be important to mages, I've modified my local copy of SSR to include Frost Ward and Fire Ward.

Modify buffs\mage.lua and insert these lines before the end line.

    self:GetCategory(L['Ward']):addMulti(
    BS['Fire Ward'],
    BS['Frost Ward']
    )

Works great. Allows me to kill elementals and absorb a nice bit of damage.

If you're not playing a paladin character all you need is to turn off the anchor icon from options menu. In addition you can diable it from the same menu, In this mode PP stops processing events and does absolutely nothing.

Thanks! That's exactly what I want. I must have overlooked this option.

Maybe people might want to be able to assign blessings for the paladins? or just see what blessings paladins buff. You just just uncheck pallypower at the character selection screen for non paladins and it's gone :)

Yes, I know I could do that manually. However, I'd prefer not to. Hence the request.

I love PallyPower. Hands down the best pally buffing tool out of the dozen or so I've run in the past two years.

Feature request: I tried slapping in some of the code from other single-class mods out there to make PP disable itself automatically when I play one of my non-pally alts. I'm not a LUA coder so I've had no success. Would you consider adding in such code? Yeah, I know the little button is, well, little. I'm just one of those OCD types that wants a minimal interface tailored to each class I play. Thanks.

For some reason I can not get it to work with a Warlock summon or Ritual of souls. I have tired a few things from customizing my own to taking out bigwigs bossblocker (saw this is a thread somewhere).

Doesn't work for my lock either. Could it be because the rituals don't have a start = true option? Can't test since it's maintenance time.

You need to open up the line editor and replace the defaults with what you want (the suggestions/templates in this thread). The line editor can be opened up either through the pull-down menu or the GUI.

Cool, thanks. I found that and tried placing one of the target lines suggested in this thread.

    [IsPlayer#mouseovertarget?IsUnit#player(MouseOverTarget)?Text(<<YOU>>):White!Target:ClassColor#mouseovertarget!Target:HostileColor#mouseovertarget]

However, when I mouse over people at the bank, no one ever has the banker or anyone else targeted in the tooltip. I'm such a noob. What am I doing wrong?

Can someone explain to a complete lua noob like me how to use all the wonderful tooltip suggestions/templates in this thread?

    In small simple step-by-step instructions?

Do I hand-edit a file? Which file? Do I do it in-game via some /cowtip command? Thanks.
