Thanks for the report Ana. However, I am changing the way the GUI works, so this is no longer of any concerns.
You can have a look here if you want to see what it looks like : http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php?topic=7617.0

This addon is very early stage and I'm learning LUA at the same time so the code is *really* messy. This might explain the 'random' errors. I totally support you *NOT* running BankAccountant live for your guild (I do, but they don't know ^^).

As for your request, Samasnier, it's not a bad idea to have something that can directly be posted to a forum/website. However, sorry, it's not on my top priority list ^^

For bug reports, here is ok, this is not a big enough Addon to use trac :)

Found the problem, Acelocale considers the FIRST locale loaded as base, witch was frFR

Do you get same errors as Matrix110 ?
It's really sad you cannot test it, I'd really love to get some feedback and improve my addon.

I am actually looking for a simple way to implement scrolling ...
Is there any ace lib for creating GUI ? It seems AceGUI is depreaciated :/

hum ... what local are you using ?
I don't get any errors from my side on a frFR local and cannot test the enUS one :/
And I don't understand this AceConsole error ... this is just a lib for me, I'm not messing with it ^^

try again from last build, I corrected a externals error (though I don't see how this could be related)

    Any enUS testers?

I'll sure make a GUI for it. Thing is .. I'm not sure this is the addon you're looking for :
This addon is not for listing what you have in the bank (a lot of addons do that quite nicely like Sanity, the OneX suite, ...). This addon is meant to track who give what to the bank.

The idea came to me when I decided to make a mote bank in my guilde. My guild has a free will policy, meaning that every member can donate what he want and there is no restrictions on what you take from the bank. It works out pretty well as long as everyone is reasonable, but I wanted to track down all the transactions.

So YES there will be a GUI, but it will only show what people gave to and took from the bank, and NOT the bank content.
I hope to have a GUI that will show :
    - For each item, how many was given by and took by who
    - For every person, what did they give and retreived

I was posting to get feedback on the idea/concept: is it good, is it not, has it already been made (though I didn't see anything similar for the moment)?
I hope this addon will be used in conjunction with one of the above for managing guild banks :)

    Hi hi all!
BankAccountant is a add on that helps you manage guild bank accounts.
It keeps track of who gives or take what to or from the bank character.

    - You can assign a price to items to have an overall balance for guild mates.
    - enUS and frFR translations for the moment
    - command : /ba

For the moment it only record the mail activity and has no gui at all.

I'd like to get your feedback on it :)

    Get it here : http://svn.wowace.com/wowace/trunk/BankAccountant/

    Updated :
    - basic GUI and new data scheme

    Updated :
    - anonymous donation of an deDE locale
    - new GUI based on tablets (you have to move the windows manualy)
    - Be careful with other addons interacting with the mail (like postal or BulkMail) they also hook the mail functions and thus the result is not always what you can expect. (I have only see issues with BulkMail so far)

    Choumarin
