Does Aloft have settings for coloring the target nameplate?

If so maybe it could be made a very dark/light color that will make it distinguishable from other nearby mobs.
Since the OP is obviously a melee class distance shouldn't be a problem.

Aloft is the first thing I thought of, however nameplates only appear if you're within a certain distance of the mob. I concur that raid targets are probably the best choice.

Since the new 2.2 screenshot, i would suggest you to not insert in the buff list Blessing Of Protection and Blessing of Freedom. Their effects fade only when the buffs fade, and... tell me you don't see them! :D

Are you sure they will still show up when spell effects are turned down?

I went back online and checked the setting that I used - It's called "Filter addon mistakes" on the FuBar menu for BG/BS.

In any case, as to the source of the errors: a couple weeks back there was a post on these forums listing which mods were tainting Ace. I recall OmniCC being among them. My personal experience is that BG/BS itself was causing taint. However, turning the extra warnings off (a.k.a. turning the filter on) worked for me.

Actually, BG/BS has an option to not show taint errors. I'm trying to remember it off the top of my head, I think it was "Ignore common errors" or something similar.

If I understand correctly, they are the same, just that one's more recent.

posted a message on Bartender3 - Action Bar AddOn for WoW 2.0
I have no problem with the bar switching on either my rogue or druid, but I DO find myself with a little problem of my own. Every time my bars get updated, the grid disappears. This occurs on events such as zoning (e.g. into battlegrounds, grid on all bars disappears), stances (stealth->no stealth, grid disappears on bar 1). I can make the grid reappear by taking any button and dragging it (it can be a button that is already on the bar, but does not have to be), I can also make the grid reappear by toggling the grid settings for each bar either via the FuBar menu or the console. I also use cyCircled, I haven't tested without it.

Any ideas as to what might be happening?

Oh yeah, versions: I've tested it with the latest revision, but the problem has already occurred since 22... something. The problem is only present since the last patch, but I couldn't pinpoint whether it was before or after updating some of my mods. When I have some more time I'll try to do a more comprehensive test by using some of the older versions of my mods.

I can't get problems with blizzard only because I use addons which cause tainting?

    No

By which he meant, "no, you can't get in trouble for it."

The only taint that BS/BG adds is seterrorhandler. However, it appears that for me too this is causing the dozens of taint errors.

Tested it today in Naxx. I ran into the delay for status bars to change. That was bad. When I tested it in ZG it worked well since we really didn't have to be mobile, but some encounters in Naxx require a lot of moving. I kept having black boxes that didn't update until I clicked on them, was quite annoying. The people would run out of range, their boxes became black, then when they returned in range, the boxes remained black until I clicked on them.. Some were already hurt and I had no idea. Thankfully sraidframes was loaded and I ended up
just using that for the duration.

I tried to check, but didn't see it. Is there a way so that out of range players just have their boxes change in alpha (faded), instead of being black? I suppose I can just declick the range check and see how that works.

Indicators are only updated when a status is gained or lost on the unit. Grid isn't constantly polling the range of every unit in your raid. You might want to try neXter's GridStatusRange which adds a status for in/out of range.

Would it be viable to add an option (via a button or keybinding, for example) to update the status of all players in the raid?

I apologize if this question has been covered before, but I haven't found a satisfactory answer at a glance:

I ran grid for the first time last night, and I noticed that for some players in my raid their health bar would be at 1/2 health. However, when targeted they were found to be at full health. Is this an issue with the player status changing when out of range? I attempted throwing them a heal, but it seems to have no effect on the health status.
