Jun 3, 2008From what I understand this is impossible because of taint. However, a solution might be paging as implemented by e.g. Bartender: you press a modifier (e.g. Ctrl or Shift) and your visible bar changes to the alternative one, where you can put your buffs etc.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
Jun 3, 2008_ForgeUser1200116 posted a message on Grid - [Solved] How do I change the number of columns and/or rows?I don't think that what you are looking for is currently possible. From the way I understand grid's workings (and someone correct me if I'm wrong), the width (or height, depending on whether you have a vertical or horizontal layout) is set by the number of parties in the raid, or by the number or units of a particular class if you are sorting by class instead of by group.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
Now, I use GridDynamicLayouts personally, and it does not do what you are looking for. What it DOES is change the raid size depending on what zone you're in. For example, it can change the raid layout to 5x5 when in a 25man raid, or 5x2 when in Kara or ZA.
PS: While I don't think that what you want is currently implemented, I don't think that it's without merit. I can see a 1-row layout being visually appealing as a FuBar-like element (there's an idea: FuBar-raidframes) for raid leaders that want to see the raid status but do not want a significant area of their screen taken by the raid frames (a strip is easier to push towards the edge of the screen than a square is).
Jun 1, 2008I believe this is related to the "You are not in a guild" messages people get sometimes just before logging off. Now, I did aPosted in: AddOn HELP!

May 25, 2008I think he means more along the lines of manipulating routes within one zone. For example, I'd personally like to be able to cluster some nodes and set an entry/exit point. This is helpful in particular for the azeroth nodes, where the lack of a flying mount dictates that inevitably routes are going to go over impassable terrain (e.g. the thorium clusters in EPL, nodes in caves, etc). I'd like something like that myself, perhaps being able to wave the mouse over a general area of the map and have routes grab the the nodes within a certain distance and cluster them. However, this probably should go into the addon suggestions forum, not here.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
May 24, 2008It would be nice to be able to sort items in my mailbox by different categories, e.g. expiration date, whether the item will be returned or rot after expiry, type of item contained, etc. How much flexibility do developer have in regards to mailbox behavior?Posted in: Addon Ideas

Ok, I suppose the first question, are you in enUS? If not, it will probably break horribly, I can't reproduce either error on my machine here.
In theory you should be able to copy the locale file and localize for other locales, I still might need to add a 'english table' to compare against, the original Kotj used 'hasreversetranslation' for comparisons, which acelocal3 doesn't appear to have so I fudged it a bit to make it work, it loads fine in enUS as far as I can tell, but it may take some additional fudging for other locales, heh.
Yep, enUS. TBH I haven't tested it standalone, so it might be a conflict with something else.
Edit: Ran standalone. LibStub, Ace3 and LibPeriodicTable-3.1 missing. After getting them, it's back to the first issue.

You can change the names of each channel. For example you could make trade "[2.Tr]"
The problem is that different characters have different channel numbers for certain channels, because not all have the same channels open. Therefore, while one character may have [2.T] for trade, for another it would be [3.T]. Yes, I could use a different profile for each character, but that's more hassle than necessary.
