Aug 13, 2008_ForgeUser1200116 posted a message on I am looking for an addon that helps me lock items to certain places in backpackIt sounds like the OP wants something like MrPlow but with a more fine-grained control over what items to move and where those items go.Posted in: Addon Ideas
Aug 11, 2008The idea for this addon mainly came to me as the question arose whether it's more efficient to dispel a dot or heal through it, but I figured it'd be just a short step to expand it a bit further. Here's the gist of it:Posted in: Addon Ideas
The addon would have two functionalities. First, it could give an estimate of the damage that a dot will cause. This could be implemented as a Grid module, so to say the inverse of the incoming heals estimator. The second part of the addon would be the average/median damage/second estimator over the last x seconds (possibly factoring in HoT applications). I'd think that this second part would be useful for raid main tank healers, particularly druids, so that they can apply just enough heals to keep the MT topped off, but limit overhealing.
Has something like this been implemented?

[quote]Changing A Panel's Parent
The parent is the frame which the eePanel is bound to. By default, this is UIParent, which represents the entire game windows. Panels inherit properties from their parent. For instance, if the parent frame is hidden, the eePanel is hidden. If the parent frame is moved, then the eePanel will move. When set to UIParent, everything behaves like normal. If you change the parent to something besides UIParent, the width/height are both set to 100%. The x,y coordinates are also both set to 0 (you'll want this since a panel's position is now relative to the position of it's parent). If you change back to the UIParent, the panel's position/size will reset to the default.
When you change the panel's parent, you may notice that the eePanel doesn't seem to fill the entire area of it's parent. This padding is caused by two things: the background inset size, and the border edge size. To fill the entire area, you can either set the edge size to near-zero, and set the inset size to 0, or you can set the frame width/height to be larger than it's currently set to, and change the x,y values to 5,-5 respectively.[/quote

I think you'll need to find out the name of the frame that you want to have your panel attach to.
I vaguely recall there being a macro that would help you find a frame's actual name so long as the addon author had specified one. I recall putting the macro on my action bar and having it keybound. Id' hover my cursor over the frame in question, hit the keybind, and the frame's name would be displayed in the chatbox. I am thinking that the ??? would be the frame's actual name.
I haven't messed with eePanels in a long, long time, so hopefully someone else with more experience can fill in the other details.
The macro (shamelessly lifted from here is
/script DEFAULT_CHAT_FRAME:AddMessage( GetMouseFocus():GetName() );
Aug 8, 2008I haven't touched eePanels in a while, but given my (somewhat limited) knowledge of how the interface works, your best bet would be to anchor the panel to said other frame.Posted in: AddOn HELP!

Do the same for every frame for which you want to disable banzai.

I still have problems with custom statusbar textures. When I start WoW without any Skinner saved variables and change statusbar to one of SharedMedias it shows it correctly everywhere. But when I quit the game and start it again, the standard statusbar is showing even though, different one is chosen in configuration.
Having this issue too.
Jul 10, 2008I experienced a similar issue to yours. As to date I have not found the reason for it, but some notable things are:Posted in: AddOn HELP!
* It does not happen specifically in high-load areas. I've had it happen in WSG, which is a considerably small and uneventful area (compared to, say, Sunwell or even Shatt).
* As with your experience, I can play windowed and everything else will work fine.
* Throwing more memory at it will not make it go away.
* It is rare (In my case, twice in the past 3 months).
* Unlike you, I do not get disconnected.
* I do not get any error/debug messages.
I don't know about your hardware setup, but in my case, I have a suspicion that it's either related to the video card (there have been previous glitches with the X3100 graphic adapters and WoW), or that Spotlight was currently reindexing the WoW folder.
Jun 17, 2008Seeing the same problem here, same version.Posted in: General AddOns
Edit: reverting to r66741.9 does not solve the color problem, which makes me think that either it's a lib problem or some other mod is interfering.
Jun 3, 2008You might want to look into RP addons like Manikin or RoleplayingHelper. They can be configured to say a phrase when your enemy dies, and you can set a frequency so it doesn't get too annoying. Hmm, come to think of it I don't know if they trigger on YOUR kill, or on ANY kill.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
