May 30, 2008_ForgeUser1199758 posted a message on Cartographer Quests and Quest Objectives Merge toolits called Microsoft Clipboard, my friend. Copy and paste.Posted in: Map/Minimap AddOns
May 30, 2008First, get the WoW Interface toolkit they give you more tutorials as well as it extracts the BlizzUI's into a directory so you can see the code yourself.Posted in: Lua Code Discussion
Next; Look at the API that comes with and start typing out functions. The interpreter will tell you whats not going right. Get PSPad, its a good syntax editor for any language. Lastly, start asking the people that have DONE it. On WoWInterface dot com the author's emails are listed. Look up a notorius addon and email the author.
May 30, 2008Excuse me, but on the big map? If that's the case you need a different pack for that, if I'm not mistaken. Check the map icons packs on WowInterface.com never use Curse gaming they've given me and my friends a lot of errors before.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
May 30, 200812 views since Ilast checked and no one has an idea what I'm talking about. OK. I checked the Lua Code and found the errors. For the startup; the variable copper in the Lib-Abacus-3.0 directory in the Lua code file line 24 is undeclared or declared 'null' before it comes to the function its used in and I think that happens because the variable name for 'copper' has changed with the new patch. For the LightHeaded error; In the Cartographer-Waypoints directory in the Waypoint.lua code file line 1111 the Function FormatDurationShort is also null, and I think this happens because the lightheaded version I'm using is out of date or the carto code doesn't declare the variable used in that function. If this enlightens the viewers of this string please someone reply these errors are driving me up the freakin wall here.Posted in: AddOn HELP!
May 30, 2008When I log in I get a nil value error on "copper" under the professions directory and when I pull up a waypoint in LightHeaded I get another error about a reference point or something like that. I got the 2.4 patch version just now from WoWInterface.com version r70534.1. Avid user. B4 reinstalling i cleared all the carto variables from my WTF folder. So how do i fix this?Posted in: AddOn HELP!
