Right, so at the moment prot paladins have 3 usefull librams to swap between.

Now, swapping items in combat resets you GCD (trivial if an addon does it piggybacking on your abilities) and your weapon swing timer (threat loss) but you gain survivability.

Now, the three librams paladins have are:

LoO - 10s buff after using judgement
LoSS - 20s buff after using HolyShield
LoD - 18s buff after using HotR (80% proc, 6s ICD)

Now, a paladin's tanking rotation is very straightforward. Its the same 18s worth of moves over, and over and over again (easily macroable currently.)

What I would like is ideally, an addon to "guess" the next move to be used by the prot paladin and equip the appropriate libram in the GCD just used.

If thats too tricky, a much simpler (and just as good really) method would be to hard-code a 18s threat cycle with 5 libram swaps in place when the spells go off.

LoSS = Libram of the Sacred Shield
    LoO = Libram of Obstruction
    LoD = Libram of Defiance

So, when you are out of combat, equip LoSS. Then, have a function which can be bound to a macro key to do the following in turn:

    Holy Shield
    ShoR <LoO>
    Judgement <LoD> 6s ICD starts
    HotR
    Consecration
    ShoR
    Holy Shield <LoD off CD>
HotR (chance to proc LoD) <LoO>
    Judgement
    ShoR
    Consecration
    HotR <LoSS>
    PRINT FACEROLL
    GOTO 10

I haven't coded any LUA before, but I have done loads of java / C++ / python. Is this feasible? I have found an addon called "BANG ITEM SWITCHER" but sadly this one switches items every time the respective prior ability is used, which means the LoD never comes off ICD and so never procs :(

Cheers for any advice / tips /examples

Ah yes, I hadn't realised switching librams reset the swing timer. I doubt it will be worth using then!

    Thanks anyway :)

I was wondering if you could add a Seal of Righteousness and Consecration options for spells? This is so I can equip http://www.wowhead.com/?item=33504 when I cast seal of Righteousness, and then http://www.wowhead.com/?item=32368 when I cast consecration (which I will then judge after to get the buff, before re-sealing)

I know I could do this with macros, BUT macros suffer from causing a new GCD if your last GCD hasn't quite finished since the /cast fails but the /equip happens. While with your addon this does not occur!

If you don't want to add it then I guess I'll hack it into your addon myself for my own use, but would be a nice option to have :)

Bizarrely I updated ZOMG and some other ace addons and now it won't appear in game and the /zomg command does nothing.

A friend had the same problem a few days ago when I was trying to get them to try ZOMG.

Is this a known conflict with another addon?

    I use omen/tankpoints/tankadin/deadlyboss/smartbuff/cartographer/PallyPower normally.

I had a problem where it denied me kings as a pala-tank

I set order to Sanc->Kings->Wisdom for pala tanks.
One holy paladin had kings and imp.wisdom, other had no talents.

It assigned me Sanc, imp.wisdom and then said "Error could not assign kings".

Can you change the logic to set higher preference to the blessings order, rather than looking to put improved ones?

When I cast Blessing of Freedom I get a BuffTracker window popping up which then tries to recast it on the same target whenever it can, which is rather annoying outside combat (as it triggers from mousewheel too.) I tried to disable the tracker but it didn't go away. Only method I have found to make it usable was to disable the entire "BufftehRaid" component. The normal blessings part works beautifully though :)
