posted a message on DKPmon & Bidder
Encountering three bugs we are encountering on our first attempt to use this, one of which prevented us from actually using it to award items:

    1. Names with special characters are not imported/exported properly. Working on fixing this one. ì (unicode 00EC) in one toon's name is causing the table dumped name to be truncated.

    2. An error is thrown if you go into a chat frame menu and try to select channels to display/hide. No clue why this is occuring, will be doing more testing. If Bidder is disabled, error does not occur.
    Error message:
FrameXML\FloatingChatFrame.lua:476: attempt to index local `color' (a nil value)
    FrameXML\FloatingChatFrame.lua:476: in function <Interface\FrameXML\FloatingChatFrame.lua:445>
    <unknown>:
    <unknown>:

    3. On bidding on certain items causes an error for everyone in the raid with Bidder. Testing with a small group of people, this was reproducable for certain items. The error is:
GUI\gui.lua:288: bad argument #3 to `format' (number expected, got nil)
    <in C code>: in function `format'
    GUI\gui.lua:288: in function `OpenBidding'
    Comm\comm.lua:150: in function `CommRecvPoints'

Working on fixing this or at least adding some debugging code to figure out why it's not working. Querying the leader for points returns a valid result.

    Couple of ideas:
    - How about allowing an item to be dragged into the DKPmon frame to add it for bidding?
    - Be useful to have a mechanism to communicate DKP values and bidders. Maybe an announce button for each item to dump more detail? Transparency is a good thing during loot distro :)
    - Allow tooltip info when hovering or clicking on an item in the admin or bidder windows

Here's a first rev of a eqDKP dump php script. Seems to work from our database but figured it needed some more testing.

I have a number of things to work on and some ideas about how to simplify the import process so it is seamless within dkpMon. Be happy to chat about them if this is going in the right direction.

I like the effort put into this and have started to work on an eqdkp import/export. For now I'm going to continue to use CTRaidTracker to upload data. Hopefully should have a new PHP file to save out a new CSV file to reset the mod's database.

If anyone has a working export, please let me know!

Are you using the latest version just posted yesterday?  That appears to be working for me.  I only did one short combat test, and since I play a mage, I only use the swap page for portals and really only use it out of combat.

Yes, the bars change by renumbering GetBonusActionBarPage() to only return 1-6, but they are not the warrior stance bars that are paged into view.

Unfortunately warrior stances are not in the bar 1-6 so if we use the scheme currently described, warriors lose 2 bars. They are stored in what used to be the renumbered pages set by GetBonusActionBarPage(). Clamping to bars 1-6 leaves 4 bars unused, 3 of which are what the default UI uses as the Warrior stance bars. This can be validated by displaying all 120 Button IDs (using Flexbar terminology here, not sure what is "official").

In the default UI, set up buttons in each warrior stance. Then turn on Bar2 and you'll see that the correct pages do not page in. Can we use it? Yes, but it is not swapping in combat nor is it swapping in the correct page the Default UI would bring in.

I look forward to the various changes, I'm still working on it locally here as well. /cheer for anyone to solve it :)

Generally everyone in range synds a sync message.

Got it. Found some more discussion in the irc logs :) where you all were chatting about some of the challenges with adjusting timers and the like. Makes sense that it's just the triggers you're passing around rather than the timer data or other info. *shudders at the thought of trying to sync timers on our laggy server*

No, it doesn't. It just sends the sync to the raid channel and all BigWigs2 versions will pick it up and try to parse it.

Is there anyplace other than the lua files themselves that describes the sync (started reading but not understood it all yet) as I've been curious about that functionality as well. Do all users in range of an event send a sync message to the entire raid? Does the RL have to do a sync test first (I don't think so)? If a sync message has variable data such as time, who's sync message wins? The first one received? I suspect latency can further affect the interaction?

It's an incredibly complex set of variables I know so no criticism intended. I love that it works so well. If I can get some guidance on answers to a few of these, I'm happy to add them to the wiki or whatever other user doc files may exist.

At today's onyxia, bigwigs wasn't always announcing when there was a deep breath incoming.

Did you have the latest version?

The latest version as in the one from wowinterface or the one from svn?
I have the one from wowinterface.

The SVN are the latest ones. Get em from the SVN.

Downloaded today (2006-08-27 21:06:16 -0700 (Sun, 27 Aug 2006) was the timestamp in the toc). I'm pretty sure it is still not fixed as the emote text changed with 1.12 and the Onyxia.lua file has the old text.

The issue is that in our two ony runs since the patch, she hasn't done a deep breath once. grrr. My group all think I'm crazy because I'm hoping for a Deep Breath. I'll have a transcription as soon as she does it. The emote I saw on patch day used the word "draws" instead of "takes" but I'm not 100% certain of the rest of the string. Will post as soon as I get one.
