    I had a weird problem last night with the version that was up. As a paladin in a raid only a few of my buffs were showing up in the raid frames when it was filtered, as in, I'd see a couple of people out of ten who had blessing of might or wisdom but everyone else had none.


    May not be the case, but I noticed with my priest that if another priest with the same rank fort but with it improved via disc talents buffs someone, I can't see it in my 'filtered buffs'

    I know technically I can't cast this buff, but can get annoying when in a raid, looks like 5 people aren't buffed and I try to buff them, or have to check each one manually in the target frame (where I don't filter buffs)

    As far as I heard, it was Blizzard who 'filtered' the buffs and the addons just hooked into their setup, but I never remember having this problem pre tbc. Is it a new thing?

    The one reason that made me switch was that it seemed to comment out the suggested players in quest notes, So I didn't know how many people were suggested once I'd hit accept.

    But other than that, I miss it a lot :(

    Yea, i told him to look for the uberquest "reborn" one. The other one is called Uberquest Modded or something like that. I've used Reborn for a while now though and it works for me so never bothered to check out the other version.

    I read this on a comment which seem to help with the suggested players thing: (this is for uberquest reborn, not sure if it works on the other modded one)

    I found this on a website somewhere and did it. Works perfectly for me! Shows the suggest players right in the quest log pane:

    Add this to UberQuest.lua after line 698:

    so it will look like this:

    excellent thanks for that, get used to an addon and its a shame to change :) even though quest fu is good, its just not what i'm used to :)

If i drag it to that member it works fine until another member join the group. the pet frame don`t move with that member. is there an option the pet belongs to a member whereever the frame is draged to ?

    Although I can live with the pets on a completely different place on the screen, I liked xperls idea to put them with the owner, would be really sweet if pitbull could do something like this:

    HHHHHHHHHHHH - player health bar
    MMMMMMMMMM - player mana bar
    PPPPPPPPPPPP - pet health bar

    So all the information is on the one frame.. if you know what i mean

    Not entirely sure what you mean, since I don't think I've used SRF, but have you checked out the DogTag wiki?

    03. Add option to disable nrg / rage showing plz. in the raid its fantasticly uselss space eater.

    Hide the mana/rage/energy bars. (option's already there)


    I think he wants to see mana bars, but not rage/energy, I agree this would be a nice addition, and unless I missed it too, its not there atm. You either see all 3, or none at all.

    Install it like a normal addon (ie in addons folder, NOT pitbull folder) they will hook into pitbull automatically

    Pitbull requires ace2 and another few librarys to run, you cannot run it with just pitbull, you need its required dependancies too

    That makes sense. However, Weakened Soul is still a debuff which is terrible important to see for a priest. Oh well, seems like I must turn the filter off.


    It may be, but its not curable, therefore not shown when you have set filter to only show you buffs you can cure. As far as I know this is nothing to do with pitbull, and I'm not sure ck could go to all the hassle to overwrite even if he wanted to. Far as I'm aware this is one of blizz's little nasties.

    A side question to this request, many revisions ago, while I was running Maraudon, I had a Hunter's Gorilla pet as the focus. When he died, lost him as the focus and had to manually re-enter him as /focus. I do not think this had anything to do with PitBull, but perhaps Blizzard. Anyone with ideas why?

    I do second the above idea, but I think I need to focus the intent of it, at least for my reasons. Perhaps a "Hide focus when dead" option?


    This is a blizzard thing, the difference being, when a pet (hunter or warlock) dies, It is resummoned, creating almost a new pet, unlike when we die, we change into a ghost and are technically still there. So unfortunately each time the pet dies you will have to reset focus. I'm not an addon developer though, there may be a way around this, just pointing out it is not a pitbull error.

    Would be "teh neatness" if it could show the percent sign when using percenthp :D


    try [percenthp]%

    ie my frames show 2000/4000 - 50%

    for this i use "[curhp]/[maxhp] - [percenthp]%"

    Hmm I know this can be done, but forgive my vagueness as i'm not in front of wow atm and can't be to look it up for definate.

    But when you go into party, player, focus etc, you will see option for name settings (or something like that) in this dropdown you can choose custom, then go into the custom editor and edit out smartclass etc, so all thats left is [name] or whatever you want it to show.

    Thats how I fixed mine, sorry again for being so vague but you should be able to find it, ones name display (your name on top bar) the other is class display (level, race, class etc). Make sure you set them to custom and edit out the custom box in each section (party, player, pet, focus, target etc, all need to be done seperatly)

    Download "Surfaces" and install it like any other mod. It adds a large number of textures that work for Pitbull. Otravi is included.

    On a side note, I updated today and was very happy to see that the ghost auras are back in so I can do all my arranging and setting up without having to guess how they'll turn out. Thanks! :)



    how do I get Surface to work.. I installed it and surfacelib.. But I do not see how to get it to work;.


    Haven't tried this myself, but i would assume (working from fubar drop down) global settings - Surface texture - I would imagine they would all show up in a list there where currently there is only Blizzard

    Can't wait to see some more sets being added, but tbh not sure they're needed, pitbull lets you do practically anything :)

    Edit: just confirmed, just drop the surfaces file into addon folder like you would a normal addon, boot up wow, and you have a list where i mentioned above of about 15-20 'skins'

    Edit2: Would also be nice if there was a 'copy to all frames" or "copy from player frames" I find when i finally sort out my player frame to one i like, I have to then go and change target, target of target, player, focus, player pets etc.... would be nice if there was a button I could push that would copy the settings of one frame to them all.
