    Just a friendly reminder:

Any chance the following patches could be applied in SVN?

    Inverse Bars: http://ace.pastey.net/873
    oUF raid frames fix: http://ace.pastey.net/878

I did make your oUF raid fix in to my branch as well Teedog and sent Andreas a link to it, as well.

    1. This thread/addon needs an FAQ page on the Wiki and a link to it from the top post. 40+ pages is completely out of hand.

    2. Can you please update the tooltip for the buffs/debuffs to include timer information?

    Thanks

    1. http://www.wowace.com/index.php/Ag_UnitFrames

Still a work in progress, of course, and a minimal faq at the moment, but feel free to contribute.

    Regarding Heart issues:

    Edit: Read here first: http://www.wowace.com/flyspray/?do=details&id=268

I've just looked in to what Heart is and have some follow-up questions (I have absolutely no desire to use this mod as Clique provides all the healing functionality I need with heal ranking and taking +healing in to account, etc. - and yes, I play a priest):

It looks like Heart has built-in click-casting.  Is all of this being disabled within the Heart mod (as Clique is doing the exact same thing, and that could be where the issue is arising)?  Is it only freezing when clicking on things that aren't set up in both Clique and Heart (if you haven't disabled the Heart bindings?)  For example, if left click isn't set up in Clique or Heart, does left-click cause the issue?  If you go in to Clique and bind left-click to select a unit (done from the Clique menu) does the issue go away?

From what I can tell, the main thing that allows Clique to work with ag_UnitFrames is solely the Clique plugin itself - there isn't anything special within ag_UnitFrames specifically for Clique.  That isn't to say the problem lies with Clique solely, just that that is probably where the issue is arising; and perhaps a conflict with Hearts own click-casting plugin.

If it is an issue within the Clique plugin, it'll be over my head at the current moment, but at least we can get some further information out there on it.

No, the SVN auto-generated .zips are uploaded instantly when a commit is made to the SVN. It's just broken atm...

Ah, okay, thanks for that Panther. My mistake was not realizing it was actually down combined with the initial going "live" of the distribution method when it was first talked about what addons would show up. Good to know!

Thorn: The latest version would be what shows up under the http://svn.wowace.com/files link, as per this post: http://www.wowace.com/forums/index.php/topic,2062.0.html. This isn't the most up-to-date that the repository has, but it is the most up-to-date that an end-user can download without direct access to the SVN (or really annoying copy/save as routines.) The issue with it not being the most up-to-date is known, and being worked on from what I can tell (most likely relating to the SVN getting corrupted, which is why it has been down over the last several days.)

Yeah, a separate option also works, just wasn't sure what you had intended with it hence why I didn't suggest that option. The menu text itself could be just changed to "State Icons" as we are dealing with the combat and resting states of a player and if the additional phrase "..and resting..." is added to the tooltip alone, it won't appear to be too much text because DewDrop will automatically set the tooltip with the proper breaks to keep it "readable." Tooltips are supposed to be descriptive, after all :)

I'm not concerned in either case, so don't take the suggestion as any sort of putdown on the additions! :)

Grabbed the update diff off the wowace svn group.

    Here's my combat/resting icon diff.

The more adevnturous can try this zip.

A quick suggestion Pasta: I'd update the tooltip description for the option to enable the combat icon since you have it doing both the combat and resting icons.

    Revision 11003: http://svn.wowace.com/root/trunk/ag_UnitFrames/

    There's a r11003.. can someone explain this?

That is reflecting the latest revision on the whole SVN. 11003 is where the revisioning is on the entire repository, and not necessarily reflective of ag_UnitFrames. the CIA and AceSVN auto-generated file list show the revisioning a bit more clearly. Just remember the SVN auto-generated file list is only updated once a day I believe.

Delsphynx, I am trying to merge some of your changes now. It is a little hard however, as you didn't provide a "diff" file. I think I can manage though, hehe. Keep coming with the stuff, this thing is big so I can't get everything done by myself ;)

Ah, sorry about that Ag.  I do everything using TortoiseSVN, so I'm used to having all of those diff options and such just "there."  I'll look at changing that process next time for the next updates.

The repository did seem a bit quiet, but also, my internet has been down at home so I don't have the update made for the [aggro] issue yet.  I also saw another tag that needs to be fixed just browsing through the list, but it's probably one that isn't used all that much since why it hasn't been an issue as of yet.

The next thing I want to tackle is allowing for the setting of the background opacity when no border is used (I guess color too although I don't see anything really used but black).

    @Thorndepth

Line 269 (may change depending how much code is added/remove before it): ["aggro"] = function (u) local x = (UnitReaction("player",u) or 5) return self:GiveHex(UnitReactionColor[x]) end,

The GiveHex(UnitReactionColor[x]) needs to changed to GiveHex(UnitReactionColor[x].r,UnitReactionColor[x].g,UnitReactionColor[x].b)

Been posting this 3 times and still no one changes it ;p

I'll get this change in to my branch for ag to look at upon a merge. Frankly, with all the pages this thing is going, it's too easy for stuff like this to be lost, although I do remember reading that you had this fixed previously.

AFAIK an option to turn off highlighting is included now.

The option was done on a branch I made of ag_UF last weekend. I emailed ag that it was done and that he could merge/do what he wished with it, but he never responded or actually merged yet.

There is only one level for a paladin

Think I found the bug. Cleanse has no "Rank 1", but my code was expecting such a syntax and therefor skipping Cleanse. I just uploaded a (possible) fix, please test it.

Been using your newest, and that seems to have done it. It is causing an error in the deDe localization file upon loading though, but other than that seems okay for the cleansing issue.

Also, it is reporting a unit is cleaned if you are spamming the detox button but not actually casting anything due to being feared, or something like that. Basically - if you can't get the cast off, but are still pressing the detox button anyway, it will show a unit cleansed even though nothing actually occurred.

    Hope that made sense :)

    1. Are you using a localized version?
    2. Do enemy magic debuffs such as MC show (can pallies clean them?)
    3. whats the name of the paladin spell?

    Nope, not localized.

Magic debuffs show on the list when it is unfiltered, just can't do anything about them.

    Cleanse.

    I can only repeat myself:

    Quote from maia »

What debuff weren't you able to clean, and are you sure you have the appropriate spell in your spellbook? Also, are you using any localized client? Did the debuff show on the live list, and was the live list filtered (aka only showing stuff you can cure yourself)? Unfortunately I don't have a Paladin, so I'll need as much description as possible.

    Mage polymorph also isn't showing.

They aren't showing in the live list, at least when it is filtered.  I do have the right spell, like I said, Detox used to be picking all of it up and now it just isn't.  Hunter poisons are still showing up to be cleansed, so at least that part is okay...

Edit: doing some further testing, it doesn't appear to pick up anything magic based.

Playing my paladin today noticed that it's not detecting magic as something I can cleanse.

    Almost forgot using Detox-r10631 :)

Hmm. The three spells that are considered valid for cleaning magic are:
    "Cleanse", "Dispel Magic", "Devour Magic"

The three spells that are considered valid for cleaning enemy magic (MC,...) are:
    "Dispel Magic", "Purge", "Devour Magic"

What debuff weren't you able to clean, and are you sure you have the appropriate spell in your spellbook? Also, are you using any localized client? I'm seeing this exact same thing, and it's happened with the last few updates (I was gone this week, so it had been at least a week since I had updated). It isn't picking up frost spells - for example, mage frost nova, shaman frost shock. Not sure what else it isn't catching, but those stand out in a pvp situation....
