Skimmed through all 10 pages and it's mostly about the 226bw, not the 206bw. The 226bw hasn't had the best of reivews.
*edit* The best suggestion on buying a new monitor is to see 'em in action with your own eyes. What looks vivid and full of detail to one person, can seem flat and lifeless to another.
That 226bw review is quite old (may 07), samsung have said all the new 226bw's made after july 07 are now S panels. So the bad colour quality/calibration issues they were having with some of the old ones are no more. I have two of them sitting side by side and they look fantastic.
Yes but if you want a kitchen then you can get your wisk add a sink, fridge, freezer, knifes forks etc. and then you'll have a kitchen exactly to your liking, Instead of your swiss army ....... kitchen.
I'd prefer to have the swiss army cooking for me, than having to do it myself.
A route planning out questing run or some such wouldn't be particularly useful without a flying mount due to the terrain, unless the zone is relatively flat like Tanaris. However, we'll think about adding note support.
Heh, actually it would be good if you're like me and avoid questing in the later 60's so you can reap the XP->gold rewards at 70..
okay, i'm not sure if this is too ambitious a project or not (I have no WoW scripting experience, so just throwing the idea out to the talented people who post on these boards), but i've thought of an idea for a gps like route planner..
The idea is that you can link minimap notes on your cartographer map via lines, with the lines visible on your main map/minimap..
I would see this as a helpful addition to cart. for the leveling process (you can mark out your quests and draw up one big circuit), or perhaps for marking out paths for gathering professions along node routes or planning out farming paths.
It could work by allowing you to right click a minimap note in cart, then having an option called "start route".. from there you can right click the next mini map note you plan to travel to and select the option "navigate via".. to finalise the planned route another option "end route here" would be available on right click.
Here's a couple of pics to help get some ideas going (or get me flamed because there's already a mod out there that does this lol ):
