The major problem is that people in those threads don't even believe that WUU exists :( Could more of you help me spread REAL info in those threads, please? I'm unable to, since I'm playing on EU servers (and since WUU doesn't contain keyloggers, I haven't stolen any US accounts either ;))

The thread has apparently been deleted, and the search yields no results. Mebbe it's been nipped in the bud.

The list of ideas would be way to long.

Start with five. You're more likely to get a response from someone thinking "Hey, I'd enjoy coding an AddOn that does THAT" then you are to get a response "Hey, I'm just waiting for any random idea that comes along".

WUU 1.4.320 OS X... had to celebrate getting a Macbook somehow ;) ...[/quote]
If you're into celebrations, try Quicksilver. It's splendiddely.

I'm a noob when it comes to coding, what do I need to do to group those trap bars? What does uncomment mean?

Uncomment means "remove the characters that make the line a comment". Specifically, where the line is -- [" Trap$"] = "Traps", the -- at the beginning of the line tells the system "skip this line". Remove the two hyphens to "un-comment", then save the .lua file, and it should work the next time you run WoW.

It is possible to just :Hide() the frames, but I seem to recall trying to do this a long time ago and my key-bindings not working anymore, or causing some other weird issues.

Mebbe you could move them offscreen, instead. But I think if you all you want is to remove the GUI elements, using Bartender is the fastest way to do it and you'll never notice a performance hit if all the bars are disabled.

you don't know what the mod is like :S? well anyway in the wowace version the pressing the buttons are same as in blizz ui,but in the other version the buttons are kinda smooth.try it urself if u don't know

It's not the mod that's unknown, it's your words. There's too many ways to guess what you might mean by "kinda smooth", and if you want a good answer to your question you might want to put a little more into your question. GIGO!

posted a message on Baggins - Official Thread
    Quote from Grita »

Is there some way to change the strata or level that a baggins bag is on? I use the all-in-one style and so have a giant bag (which I love) but when I'm opening something like a clam my loot window is always below the baggins bag and I can't get the tasty clam meat out until I close baggins. This can be a pain when I have many clams or something similar.

I didn't have this issue when I used FruityLoots to move my loot window under my cursor, but blizzard recently implemented that feature so I disabled FruityLoots and turned on the blizzard version in my interface options. If I have to I suppose I could turn it back on again, but it seems like a silly thing to do.

FruityLoots is very light, and apparently it's drawing the bag on a higher strata than Blizzard does. Silly or not*, it may be the thing to do. ;) Have you tried auto-looting your clams?

*Most of my AddOns seem like silly things to do to compensate for UI oversights!

There's apparently a workaround, posted in the Automaton thread:

Here a fix for the Stand.lua Module...
Edit your \Automaton\modules\Stand.lua at Line 41 from

    SitOrStand()
    to
    DoEmote("stand")

and it work fine, again ;)

I think it's been rolled into Automaton.

    Can you tell I haven't tried? ;)

for the mac you could package WUU with platypus to crate a os x app instead of source downloads. just a fyi

    http://www.sveinbjorn.org/platypus

I played with that a little bit for my own curiosity, without any luck although it's easy to use on simpler scripts. If the WUU team ever has better luck than I did, that'll be great, but the truth is that I would hardly notice the difference. You don't need to use/see the terminal window on OS X to launch WUU.py if you don't want to. PythonLauncher can be configured to launch python scripts without a terminal window if you prefer. Just double click 'em (or if you use QuickSilver, activate WUU and use the Open action) and they open, just like an .app package. You may have to use "Get Info" on the .py file to set it to open with PythonLauncher.

There's something strange with OmniCC - I suddenly had both an !OmniCC and a OmniCC directory - I haven't looked into the details, but it might be that the name inside the archive changed?

It stopped being and !OmnicCC folder and started being an OmniCC folder some time ago. Maybe you have a legacy folder still in your AddOns from some time ago. (?)

Anywho, I just installed it and updated it without any problem. I installed it manually from WoW Interface, Addon > Scan didn't detect it, and so I used Addon > New and set the friendly name to "OmniCC", and set the Site ID for the WoWInterface page. Setting it to Unknown and updating from the online database works also, doing that sets it to the Curse ID. It's sitting prettily and updated in my WUU window now (and only one OmniCC folder in my AddOns folder), and it's working in the game.

The error is pretty plainly telling you to download a copy of the Dewdrop-2.0 library >.>

That is incorrect (for one thing, if it were correct then the error would persist after I edit the .toc file). Editing a .toc file if I decide to update Prat isn't a big deal, tho, and if I'm the only one with the glitch then it's localized to my set-up and it's fixed so far as I care.

posted a message on simpleMinimap, now with Ace2 goodness
I noticed today that I'm seeing Blizzard's "N" for north at the top of the map and I didn't before with SMM (it is not the SMM compass). I've been looking for a new "Show North" setting on the Interface Options panel, but I can't find it. Is it embedded in the map texture now?

    Before:

    After:

If anyone can tell me that I've done something wrong to show that "N" at the top (and what it was!), I'd appreciate the tip. Or, if there's a new setting I need to toy with, I could really use a vowel because I can't find the right tick box.
