For quest hints, info, and tips you might like Lightheaded, which is similar to that idea. http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/info7017-LightHeaded.html

    Reread plx: http://www.wowinterface.com/downloads/fileinfo.php?id=5370

That's correct, it's similar but not identical. I'd have preferred to point out something that was exactly like what you'd asked for. I know that Lightheaded is just an in-game knowledgebase, and while the data is culled from the contributions of a user group, it isn't specifically for a guild. But on the other hand, it is currently being supported and it's a good collection of data, although it's limited to quest hints, info, and tips. It's still the only thing I know of that's even remotely near to what GuildBook says it is.

    Capisce?

    um no...

Cart, Cart_QuestObjectives, Quest_Fu, JasonQuest and you got urself a Complete Buddy Quest Complilation.

I get a lot of use out of MobMap and Lightheaded (which works great with Quests_Fu), even with Cartographer etc. Lightheaded gives me a handy quest tips and notes collection out of the box, and MobMap's DB in all it's searchable glory is quite thorough. Neither is necessary, but my pack doesn't feel complete without them. Just like nikenbole wrote, if you ever spend any time looking up quests or objectives, those two AddOns will all but eliminate that. (For me, they do.)

If you never look up quest discussions or mob locations, then neither one will be of much use to you, and I get more out of Lightheaded than I do out of MobMap.

    What exactly is focus?

A UnitID. It's like a target lock, once you set it your focus it remains so until you set a new one. (http://www.wowwiki.com/HOWTO:_Make_a_Macro#What_is_.22focus.22.3F)

I think you can use SanityBags to combine "real" bags, in an unsorted way. From the Wiki: "bag:<integer> - matches all items in a given bag. 'bag:1' would match all items in your backpack, for example." I bet you could do a "bag:1 bag:2 bag:3" sort of thing. This is one of many things I comment on without having tried, though. ;)

But... it is just a spherical arrangement of action buttons, bloated with a lot of entirely unrelated features. It has nothing to do with what Sprocket was doing and is certainly no replacement.

However, it has everything to do with what Venantes (and other sphere-styled AddOns) do. And that's what the discussion has been about, including the first post. You're absolutely right that there is no Sprocket/Venantes replacement, as those two AddOns are so dissimilar from each other. No matter which of those had been discussed, the thread title was misleading from the start.

Baud Bags doesn't let you select the size of the "bags" (I don't think), but it does let you decide which bags to combine into views. Sort of a "multi-OneBag" thing. You could also look at OneBagPockets, which creates unsorted sections of the OneBag window. The only reason I know about either is they've both been mentioned on these forums, and I haven't tried either one.

Anyway, this addon really is great. I've been playing more with it and the dedication the author has and how he is designing this thing is very professional.

As soon as I started reading the forums, I was impressed. And if he/she actually manages to put a 3D version of Rogue a window within WoW, I may explode. Really, I'd have to.

Thanks for googling that for me, I should have of done that myself.

You're welcome. And for what little it's worth, I've no idea if you thought so, but I didn't mean to imply that you should have done the search yourself. I only meant that all I know about Lunar Sphere is what Google (and my mama) dun tol' me. I did it because you asked for info, and because I enjoy searching for, finding, and discovering new things. I probably wouldn't have looked if you hadn't asked, and so I benefitted myself by searching. So thank you!

According to the board, this looks pretty memory efficient ("around 250k, or 0.250 meg"). I think I'll have to try this puppy myself when I get back home. ;)

I considered playing around with this later today...but I've decided against it since you had to bump your own post 3 times in a row.

If I had started a thread requesting something, I also would have replied to the people who posted in that thread. I would have thought it incredibly rude not to.

    Google Powers Activate! http://moongazeaddons.proboards79.com/index.cgi?board=lunarsphere

I've not used it or tried it, but as Viserion pointed it, this is very very beta (according to what I've just read on those boards). Not yet for widespread public consumption, yada yada. It does look very promising, though, and there's a very clear design strategy in place.

but, heavily outdated, and i'd love to see some ace2 replacements for such a menu.

Not all of the good stuff is Ace (standard caveat), but in this case Venantes is an Ace2 mod. It just doesn't get posted here.
