Sorry for that Bugsack/Buggrabber report with the wrong version number.
I had used the Grid2 svn revision r269 via git-svn, but my script to fill in the
@project-revision@ number used the last revision number for a change
in the file Grid2.toc (r224).
Perhaps you can help me with that. Is there a way to fill in the version
numbers using git? For now I'm using the latest zipped Grid2 version to
report errors.
I'm using no additional Grid2 addons.
After the last report, jerry made some commits that changed the described
issue in Options/GridStatuses.lua (38 yards instead of 40).
But there a two new errors with r273:

I still have problems with the range status after a reset.
I'm using a deDE client with Grid2 r269.
* In the Grid2Options dropdown menu for range there is only 38 yards not 40:
Options/GridStatuses.lua: [38] = (L["%d yards"]:format(38))
Changing to 38 yards results in this message:

I changed it to 40 but the range status is still ~2 yards/meters to short.
http://wow.curse.com/downloads/details/12837/ is becoming very popular amongst healers, as it uses combat log events, rather than UNIT_HEALTH events, to update health. This results in much snappier health bar updates.

Range 40 yards/Meter is still fading out at ~38yards/Meter.

Yes, I'm missing this icon. I don't like "DEAD" people, but with the skull icon
I can see dead people.

I think, you used in the calculation of Avg Total for Chain Healing one jump too much.
With
you get with your code
So the term describes an additional jump.
