posted a message on [Pitbull] TalentSpec DogTag
I tested this in a raid with 25 of miy guildies before posting here.
I selected about 10 random ppl standing infront of me, using my mouse.
So hoover was in place, range was in place, faction wasn't the problem - and still it doesn't work.

I would've thought it was something new in 2.4 that Blizzard changed regarding inspecting ppl like that BUT for some of those ppl their spec would appear if I selected them again.. and for soem it wouldn't. SO I made the conclusion that it is perhaps a problem in Pitbull itself.. opr maybe, hopefully, just my tag.

Sicne 2.4 I can't make this tag work anymore.. it onyl displays the actuall spec for some ppl (not all) and it soemtimes requires me to change targets several times before it would actually display it for the wanted target.

I checked in th eupdated DogTag help syntax for possible changes and found out it's the same.. it's just [Talentspec] to my understanding... and if I use [TalentTree] then it displays something like "Fire" for a fire mage. Ofc the TalentTree version works same way as the spec version of the tag.

That's not exactly what he said. He said he'll get it fixed, but it's not his highest priority.

There is a big difference between "stopping it's development" and "I'll fix it when I can."

OK now we're splitting hairs.. I understand what happened.. I have a simliar experience myself with a full time job and reduced time for gaming in my life now.
Besides, there is no tellign how long there wil be till he finds time.. could be 1 day and it could be 4 months. I don't know and I don't really care. I'm sorry we lost Parrot (for now) but happy for the man who got his RL sorted properly.. IMO it's a good thing and >> wow anyday.

Mods like parrot work through the Combat log, hence when the combat log changed it's design, they all broke.
Parrot has been updated and works again. Maybe you should go download the newer version.

I know that and am well aware of it. But I've updated it last night, and again this morning and still have the same problem. Will try again after work tonight.. thanks for the input.

EDIT: I just saw the post from the Parrot author, saying he is stopping it's development. So I guess that explains why the updates don't work with the new combat log.

I would just like to know HOW to make Parrot work again in 2.4.
After I reset entire profile I still don't get damage/healign displayed.. only cooldowns and such.
Blizzard's ingame damage works when enabled, and Parrot settings for it do not make any effect on making Parrot's damage work.
    Any hints?

    thanks
