I used the new Pitbull, which i guess got a new LibRockConfig as well inside. But i as well updated the Config by myself as well and it did not change anything.

I had this problem as well, but solved it by updating my other Ace addons. In the end, it was Cartographer that was triggering the LibRockConfig-1.0 lua error when I tried to access the Rock menu via /pitbull. Give it a try and it should work. If not, try disabling ALL of your addons other than PitBull and start re-enabling one at a time until you find the culprit.

    Bug Report:

Latest builds of PitBull generate a LUA error when selecting All Units -> Bars -> Bar Fading from the Rock interface:

Interface\Addons\PitBull\BarFader\Barfader.lua:341:attempt to index field '?' (a nil value)

LibMobHealth-4.0 is, as the name suggests, a library. It will be in the PitBull\libs\ folder with all your other embedded libraries. Note that it may be included with other addons as well, and PitBull will always use it if it's found, so I suggest searching your entire Addons folder to make sure there aren't other copies lying around.

You should be able to just delete the folder entirely without issues. Theoretically, an addon could embed it because it actually *requires* the library, but I don't believe that's the case for any addons (yet).

Thanks once again Ellipsis. Deleting the LibMobHealth-4.0 folder from "/Interface/Addons/PitBull/libs" did the trick :D

I went ahead and tried the versions after r60761, all of them crashed. I have not crashed on r60761 and prior. I'm using embedded libraries.

Aight I was bored so I stripped my interface folder bare except pitbull. It's not crashing when the mod is by itself. I'm going to add my other addons one by one (ugh) and see which one will trigger the crash.

On the previous page I posted how I was getting this error after updating PitBull from 60731:

    http://img175.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot021208213051cz3.jpg

It turned out that Cartographer was out of date and this was the cause of the problem, even though the lua error pointed to my LibRockConfig-1.0 in PitBull. Go figure :P

PitBull (or rather, DogTag) is hardcoded to choose LibMobHealth-4.0 first, then fall back on MobHealth3 or MobInfo. If you want to control this, you can remove LibMobHealth-4.0 from your system, although that's a bit of a pain if you use embedded libraries. Alternatively, you can install LibMobHealth-4.0 standalone so that it will save its data (which it can't do while embedded due to technical limitations).

    Hi Ellipsis,

Thanks for the post. I do use the embedded libraries, but I just manually delete the modules I don't want from my PitBull folder. Are you able to explain how to removed LibMobHealth-4.0? It doesn't appear to be a standalone module (located in the "libs" folder), and even when running the PitBulllod.sh to disembed libraries, I notice that LibMobHealth-4.0 isn't referenced in anyway. Thanks again for your time.

I would really appreciate a way to turn the mobhealth like info off for pitbull. I like seeing just a health percentage for raid mobs so I get a better feel for timing cooldowns as well as knowing when to execute.

I'd like to be able to turn it off as well, but for a different reason. I actually DO like to see the absolute hp values, however, I have a HUGE MobInfo database already established over the last year or so. With LibMobHealth-4.0 my MobInfo absolute values are overwritten by PitBull with "100%" until I start to damage the mob and it calculates the hp. Exiting the game and logging back in wipes any "history" of mob hp value (as I understand it LibMobHealth-4.0 does not maintain a permanent database) and the mob shows as "100%" again.

Your LibRockConfig-1.0 is out of date

Thanks for the suggestion CK. I downloaded the latest PitBull.zip from files.wowace.com/PitBull. Unzipped it. Deleted the previous PitBull folder from my Interface/Addons folder and replaced it with the newly unzipped PitBull folder. That's why I can't understand how my LibRockConfig could be out of date.......

Hmmm in 61034 I can no longer type /pitbull or /pb to bring up the rock menu. If I turn on "Display LUA errors" from the game interface menu, I get the following lua eror spamming my screen:

    http://img175.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot021208213051cz3.jpg

Reverting to 60731 fixed it, but all builds after this continue to show the same lua error and I cant get to the PitBull rock menu for any build post 60731.

    Thanks in advance.

Anyone able to suggest a work around, I'm really stuck on this.

    Cheers.

Feature requests aren't really "official" until you put them on Jira. I know it's a pain to register for yet another account and all, but things tend to get lost/forgotten on the forums, while Jira tickets are always there to haunt us (for better or worse...). I highly recommend you post this on Jira.

    No problem Ellipsis, will do!

    OFFICIAL FEATURE REQUEST:

Hi guys, I checked jira but couldn't find this listed anywhere. Is it possible to get alpha settings added for Health/Power bars and backgrounds? That would be really great!

Thanks for the great work you are doing for this mod!

    Hi there,

Firstly, thanks for AltAura! It's a great module. One very minor thing I have noticed (hunter) is that a when a target is wing-clipped AND in a frost trap's aura, that the wing-clip de-buff is over written by the frost trap de-buff. I don't have ANY filtering enabled, and this is the only time I see this.

    Thanks again.

    Hi guys,

Just thought I'd post a pic of a small issue I've been seeing in recent Pitbull revs (r60066 and up).

    http://img232.imageshack.us/my.php?image=screenshot020808204235za2.jpg

You can see the missing health bar texture on a party members UF. This happens randomly when hitting "m" on the keyboard to bring up the full screen map, and it can happen to any UF on the scree; player, pet, target, etc. To get the texture back again, hitting "m" a few times to show/hide cycle the world map will bring the textures back. Incidentally this sometimes occurs with buff/debuff icons (under the default Aura module or even using Alt_Aura), where the texture is missing, but the buff/debuff border is still visible, and it can be fixed by cycling the world map a few times. Hope this is of some help.

    Cheers.

Uh oh! I don't normally play a hunter, so I haven't run into this issue - I'll test it a bit more thoroughly and see if I can reproduce the problem. Thanks for the report! :)

    Hi Ellipsis,

Just quickly did some testing on r60559 here at work (while the boss wasn't looking :D ) and Pet Happiness Icon issue looks to be fixed. I'll do some more extensive testing tonight and let you know of any other issues.

    Great work as usual!!!

Thanx Ellipsis! I should have added, it's anytime you enter the game, so logging out and then back in reproduces the issue 100% of the time.
