Well to put it simply, when a shaman uses Windfury Weapon and it procs, there is a three-second window where it can not proc again. This cooldown is not disclosed by Blizzard or shown in a tooltip which is why it is considered hidden. There is a mod which can track this cooldown by popping up a three second timer bar when you get a proc, but I'd prefer it to be in button form!
I currently use WF3Sec for this purpose, but I would like to be able to replace that mod with this one as well. If it's not possible, I suppose I can live with it, but I like to keep all my important combat information looking uniform and centralized.
I'm excited to try this out later tonight when I get home. One question: does it support monitoring Windfury's hidden 3 second cooldown between procs? If so, it's a no-brainer for me to use this mod.
The addon loads and fuctions perfectly, until I camp and attempt to log onto another toon (or even the same one I was just on). Prat refuses to load. I can reload the UI, camp again, and nothing will cause Prat to "reactivate" besides exiting WoW and launching it again. Any ideas?
I do a reload after I copy as well, and that usually fixes a few minor things, but in general, it still looks like a big ol' mess. Perhaps it's a good ol' ID10T error. The way I do it is:
I apologize in advance if this has been asked before, but I have trouble with applying a previously configured profile to a different toon. When I choose the profile I'd like to copy, only half (or so) of the settings will change to their correct values. Then I have to (painstakingly) go through the saved variable file and manually copy all of my settings to the new toon's profile. Of course, I always make a mistake, and end up having to re-configure everything all over again. What's the deal? Any tricks I can use to make this easier?
Now that I think about it, I have this same problem for most addons which use the profile system.
I noticed a slight bug with C2C recently. When I view the keybindings in the fubar menu, they show up incorrectly. For example, the menu that appears when you hover or the icon shows "Alt + Left Mouse = Berserking", when the actual keybinding is "Ctrl + Alt + Left Mouse". Anybody know why this happens and/or how to fix it?
There is already such an Addon, its called SmartBuff.
It does exact the sme thing, rebuffing on Mousewheel, and also for Group/Raid if you want.
So why this Addon, could you give me a Reason why to use your Addon instead of SmartBuff? Would really like to know.
greets
In my personal opinion, SmartBuff is a really poorly designed mod. Very confusing options menu, with tons of settings that don't seem to make any sense. I haven't tried out SimpleSelfRebuff as of yet, but I really hope it can provide what I need without any of the extra junk! As a shaman, I'm only concerned about buffing myself. What can I say, I'm selfish. It's too bad the mod AutoBuff was never updated, I used that a while back, and it was far more intuitive than SmartBuff could ever hope to be. Of course, it has been so long since I used it now, that it may not have been all that great either!
Edit: To correct my poor grasp of the English language
I'm currently experiencing EXTREMELY low download speeds from http://wowace.com/files/. Is this a result of high traffic due to the several patches and expansion pack expectation, is there a problem with the site, or is it something on my end? Sorry if this is being discussed somewhere else, I did a quick search and did not find any info.
This option, combined with Kazama's suggestion, would allow you to perfectly time an opening move while in stealth, and then immediately begin tracking your current energy, never having to look up at the unitframes. This way the bar is active every time I need to be aware of my energy, because having it on always is a bit distracting to me.
If this is already possible, please let me know, as I have only a low level rogue alt, and today marks my first foray into rogue class-specific mods.
Edit: Just trying out Tick right now, I noticed it has exactly the option I need: show bar when targetting a hostile NPC or player. That's an easier way to explain all the babbling I did up there. Thanks in advance! :-)
I have only recently started raiding, so the CT raid mods and KLH are disabled in the screen shot. Feel free to suggest alternatives to any of the mods I'm using.
Awesome! I thought this project was going to disappear. Glad somebody decided to start work on it, I am anxiously awaiting the finished copy. If you need anybody for testing, don't hesitate to let me know.
Pasta, FYI, using your 'adventurous' zip file, the combat icon would stretch itself across my health and mana bars instead of the corner where I'm sure it is supposed to be. I found a quick fix: I downloaded the hand-patched version you posted without the combat icon support :-). But seriously, I couldn't figure out why it happened. I use the ABF frame layout, if that helps you track it down.
Delsphynx, I am trying to merge some of your changes now. It is a little hard however, as you didn't provide a "diff" file. I think I can manage though, hehe. Keep coming with the stuff, this thing is big so I can't get everything done by myself ;)
Ah, sorry about that Ag. I do everything using TortoiseSVN, so I'm used to having all of those diff options and such just "there." I'll look at changing that process next time for the next updates.
The repository did seem a bit quiet, but also, my internet has been down at home so I don't have the update made for the [aggro] issue yet. I also saw another tag that needs to be fixed just browsing through the list, but it's probably one that isn't used all that much since why it hasn't been an issue as of yet.
The next thing I want to tackle is allowing for the setting of the background opacity when no border is used (I guess color too although I don't see anything really used but black).
I would love to see that opacity setting. As a once-in-a-while healer, the background bleeding through my party frames sometimes makes my party's health bars hard to make out, which makes for an unhappy instance run.

1) /modname profile choose char
2) /modname profile copy othertoon of servername
3) /console reloadui
That should do it, right?

Show the bar while stealthed OR in combat.
