Oct 7, 2006Another Cthun "rape" thing getting by the options:Posted in: Raid AddOns
On Line 491:
self:TriggerEvent("BigWigs_StartBar", self, L["barTentacle"], tentacletime, "Interface\\Icons\\Spell_Nature_CallStorm")
self:TriggerEvent("BigWigs_StartBar", self, self.db.profile.rape and L["barTentacle"] or L["barNoRape"], tentacletime, "Interface\\Icons\\Spell_Nature_CallStorm")
Oct 6, 2006BossBlock.lua blocks the string "YOU HAVE THE PLAGUE" in tells, but AQ40/Defenders.lua sends out the warning in tells as "You have the plague!" Thereby getting by the bossblock mechanism.Posted in: Raid AddOns
It's minor but I think consistency is good. Can this be fixed?
Sep 20, 2006I have a question.Posted in: Raid AddOns
When I have the "Rape is never funny" option checked, is that supposed to make bigwigs more family guild oriented?
It seems to be the opposite. I added a simple debug print to BigWigsCThun:OnEnable a la print(self.db.profile.rape) and then proceeded to force Activation through the BigWigs fubar menu for Cthun.
With it checked, I get true spit out to the chat window and false when the option is not checked.
Looking at the code on line 347,
self:TriggerEvent("BigWigs_StartBar", self, self.db.profile.rape and L["barTentacle"] or L["barNoRape"], timeP1TentacleStart, "Interface\\Icons\\Spell_Nature_CallStorm", "Yellow", "Orange", "Red")
It looks to be the opposite of the intent, that the option rather should be "Rape is funny". Since you're short circuiting if "Rape is not funny" is not checked.
There are various other instances like this where I think the intent is the reverse of what the code is doing. (i.e on lines 348, 349)
Edit: fly sprayed this one.

Scroll up to Grimwald's response to my reporting of the issue (his is reply #5), you either need to have a target selected and input the number of the tank slot you want the person to occupy or you can enter the slot number, followed by a space, then the person's name.
Sep 4, 2006Tried this with the latest version off of svn.wowace.com/files:Posted in: Raid AddOns
I created a raid of two people, one of which was in another zone, and attempted to set that person up as a main tank using the fubar plugin where I type the name in.
Here's the error:
Interface\AddOns\oRA2\Leader\MainTank.lua:122:attempt to concatenate local 'name' ( a nil value)
Don't know if this was a problem with range or something else I was doing incorrectly.
Thought I'd let you know.
