    oh damn... It actually didn't print anything... just the: "Windfurytest:" ingame...

    I didn't really know it was supposed to say something specific...
    But I understand now that it should return something like: "Your Windfury Attack blablabla."

    It didn't.. :/

    Yes I got an ingame print when Windfury landed with that.

    sooo.. something's wrong with the arg1?

    (I have used Mydebug addon to run the Playsoundfile-bla-bla-bla /script and that plays the soundfile just fine without any agruments or othe codings.)

    I kind of guessed it would be something as simple as that... but alas.. that did not solve the issue :(

    It's something else.

    I've been looking at tutorials for 3-4days and tried to experiment with the coding over 20 times now, but I still can't get this to work.

    I've used devtools to get the CHAT_MSG... -event, so that has to be correct for when Winfury is fired on a mob... right?

    I don't know what else to do now so I hope someone can help me out with this.

    This is what my Core.lua looks like atm.
    What's wrong?

    function Windfurytest:OnEnable()
    self:RegisterEvent("CHAT_MSG_SPELL_SELF_DAMAGE")
    end

    function Windfurytest:CHAT_MSG_SPELL_SELF_DAMAGE(event, arg1)
    if (string.find(arg1, "Your Windfury Attack")) then
    PlaySoundFile("Interface\\addOns\\Windfurytest\\libs\\SOUND240.WAV");
    end
    end
