Feb 20, 2007Thanks Flare I'll give it a try.Posted in: Unit Frames
Yeah I don't like x-perl(unfortunately even with all it's bulk it is still the smallest player frame outside of agUF) I was only using it because i tend to have shift held down a lot and I just couldn't click anyone in my group to heal them.
minigroups/agUF has always been the best player frame for healers imo. Compact, expandable for better viewing. Used it since original minigroups days <3
Feb 20, 2007Yeah mentioned this pre-tbc (2.0) and it still the same.Posted in: Unit Frames
I check back every week or so see if it has been fixed. I'm using x-perl now but it just isn't as nice for a healer as Minigroups/ag_unitframes are/were.
Reason is because Blizzard added in new events for modifier+clicks. If we could just get some fall through behavior on the modifier+clicks unless otherwise stated it would be awesome. I created a bug in the Trac system and assigned it to andreasg so hopefully can get some visibility on it.
I tried to find some place were it calls clicking events but I'm just too n00b to know where to find it :(
EDIT: I noticed that this forum links to a Google Code for bug tracking instead of the bug tracking(Trac) in the aceforums. So I also created a bug there. http://code.google.com/p/agunitframes/issues/detail?id=208
Dec 11, 2006_ForgeUser1196476 posted a message on ag_UnitFrames - suggestions, requests and temp fixes threadI'm not sure if this info is stored in the ACE library or if button clicks are handled at the mod level. But here is a post that my friend made and we are experiencing this problem with aguf.Posted in: Unit Frames
Slouken even stickey'd my post in the UI forum. 0.o
Basically the problem I was having on the PTR was that I was having problems selecting people in my party to heal them.
I thought I was being an 'r-tard' or that the PTR lag was making me suck, or even that the default blizzard frames sucked, but actually what was happening was I was trying to click people while I was still holding shift or alt. I use those modifier keys for heal spells. Anyway, apparently the change is that holding a modifier while clicking something is different now.
